1) WOW, what a difference that makes, looks so much more luxurious and not so Cheap Plastic!
2) Love the lighting in your car.
3) Love how you have your taillights and your taillight bar.
4) Your garage is amazing... What mat did you use, and the tire ramps? I need those for my garage, but nothing will make my garage look as fantastic as yours!
1) Everything in the version from China is more luxurious. The entire top of the dash is padded vinyl with white stitching instead of hard plastic like ours. Door panels and seats have more trim and color options.
2) I installed interior accent lighting from EV-Vida on the dash and door trims, door release handles, door storage (in rear), under front seats for rear footwells, cup holders and glove box. Also had a custom lighted Mach-E emblem made and installed it in the front kick plate/door sills
3) Thanks. Wanted to tie the taillights together.
4) The mats are from RaceDeck in Utah. You can get all different styles and colors. They are all 12”x12” squares you snap together. I needed the ramp for the GT500 to drive over the lift which sits 4 1/2 inches above ground while the 500 has a ground clearance of just under 4”. The ramp was custom made by a fabricator friend of mine. 18”W x 18’L x 2 1/2” H.

I wanted the floor console that are in the Mach-E's from China. I had asked AOSK and other aftermarket retailers with no luck. After talking to Bruce from BSKT, he said he would find one for me from a wrecking yard and ship it over. 2 months later (came over on a boat) I received it.

I'm very happy with it except wasn't expecting gloss black door/covers for the storage bin, cup holders and phone charger. I normally keep the latter two open anyway. The rear of the console was also trimmed in gloss black, After installing it, the gloss black doesn't look that bad. It is the only area of the interior that has it since I replaced the gloss black trim on the steering wheel with forged carbon fiber to match the door and dash trims. I moved the wiring harness, wireless phone charger, antennas, lighting, GSM, etc from the old console to the new one.

Hi Mark: Is your arm rest OEM for 2024? I have a 23 that has smooth vinyl. Yours matches the seats better.

It is not OEM. I always have bits and pieces of my interior (and exterior) customized the way I like it. The armrest is actually one from China which is wider than our armrest. They come vinyl like ours but I had Bruce at BSKT cover it in leather and Alcantara to match the steering wheel he did for me which matches the Gray interior of the GTPE.

Our armrest on the left and the slightly wider armrest from China Mach-E's on the right (custom covered).

Mark you are certainly an expert. Question - Do you think that it could be possible for someone to produce an "upgrade kit" to make our USA cars look like yours?

Not really possible to produce an upgrade kit because the console body is different. So you can’t remove the upper part of ours and swap out for the upper part of the Chinese one. I was hoping that was the case but it’s not.

That is SO much better than the USDM models console. My 2-3 main complaints with the MME are the console (just seems useless to me, there is no hidden storage apart from the armrest), the armrest being too narrow (my right arm is too short to rest my elbow on it while holding the wheel), and how the steering wheel doesn't go low enough.

Impressive work as always, Mark. I would certainly prefer that console design in US-market Mach E's. When I see this kind of thing it makes me scratch my head. Ford, like most automakers, is obsessed with cost cutting. Why not use the same console in all Mach Es? I'm sure there's an explanation - different markets, different supply chain, etc.
Could be cost cutting but the Chinese console looks like it leaves less leg room. I know my knee already rubs on the US console and that looks worse.

Both consoles are the exact same size width and length so it takes up no more space in the cabin between the seats or in the rear. The Chinese console is taller in the area under the screen. What is nice about it is the sides are padded vinyl for those that have legs or knees that rub up against it compared to the hard plastic sides of our console. Mine don't rub as my legs are basically straight to the pedals when sitting in the seat.

Your console looks more fitting for the interior of this car and was definitely worth waiting for!

I also have one of BSKT's armrests custom covered the way yours is (copied it from the one you had in your '21 GTPE) and love it!

You know you could have had Bruce emboss GT in that armrest. I didn't want it in mine. I like the clean look. 😊

When I originally installed the new console about 10 days ago, I had been keeping the covers open. Lately, unless I'm using the cup holders I keep that cover closed and after I get in the car and drop my phone on the wireless charging mat, I close that cover too. It really does look nice having the covers closed even though they are gloss black (dust magnet).

One thing that puzzles me is why the OEM wireless charger in this console works perfectly compared to the very erratic OEM wireless charger in the previous console and the ones in my previous Mach-E's?. Maybe it is because I got the iPhone 17 Pro the same day I installed the console? Coincidence or not, it has been charging perfectly even though the phone does not sit flat because of the camera bump on the back. I had been using the TWRAPS charging mat in my previous consoles which was flawless for wireless charging. It obviously does not fit in this console.

Yes, in fact I was thinking of having "Mach-E" embossed instead of "GT" but in the end decided to just keep it simple with no embossing. I like the armrest with the Alcantara instead of vinyl especially on super hot AZ days my arm doesn't have to lay on a hot surface.
