You're a great example of selecting the best choice FOR YOU! I couldn't be happier for you.

Sadly, if you're enthusiastic about your car choice, some will take that as defensive over another brand. Even worse, some can't deal with anyone not making the same choice as they do. And the bashing begins.

I just wish more people would understand that any of us can be excited about our choice (positive bias as @Mach-E VLOG has mentioned) without having to hold back because someone will take it wrong.

Maybe the key is pointing out the positive about our choice without bashing others' choices. And you have one of the best I've ever heard!
Thank you! Very kind words. We have a great community here.

I wish Zac and Jessie would have had Andrew do a demo for them after the initial interview! That would have highlighted the car's features Andrew loves much better. He didn't appear to have a heavy Tesla bias, he seemed to be pretty objective even through he had a 2014 Tesla Model S and a 2019 Model 3 Performance in the past and still loves Tesla.

In comparison to Zac and Jessie, I don't expect @Mach-E VLOG to be completely objective either when his videos come out! He has his likes and dislikes which I RESPECT and I don't JUDGE him for his recent Model Y comments on Twitter. Totally his right and I hope we can continue a positive dialogue on this and other social media. EV enthusiasts need to support each other NO MATTER THEIR CHOICE OF VEHICLE (please ?)

Zac and Jessie's Tesla bias is clearly showing no doubt. And to your point, they needed to get the name of CoPilot360 right, that was unprofessional and rude.

They went postal on CoPilot. I wish they wouldn't have gone on and on about something most people won't experience. Yet when I test drive a Mach-E soon I'll check out what they were highlighting concerning silent disengagement. As long as the steering wheel vibrates, I'm being notified. It doesn't have to be audible, but it does need to alert me.

Andrew: "It's the best competition that Tesla has right now, I think it's just a different feel". Well said!
Both vehicles have so much to offer. Too bad they felt the need to unfairly trash the MME. If they had done their homework it might be a different thing, but both vehicles are fantastic.

+1

One can say good things about Brand X but still prefer Brand Y. My Ford vs Tesla preference, for example is subjective and what suits me might not suit someone else. Both vehicles have good features, both have pain points. Choose the one that fits you.

What a disappointing end to this review. It started out pretty fair I thought especially with Andrew giving his assessment being a Tesla owner. Even the real time comments seemed to fairly point out areas of improvement while giving credit to the areas where it shined. But then they somehow took all of that and reframed it into bashing the Mach-E in the summary segment. Very disingenuous and really makes them look like shills for Tesla. I wonder why they didn't try to discredit all of the awards it's received. I should have stopped watching after Andrew's segment.

Couldn't agree more!

Yeah, I stopped watching them a while ago, and I'm not going to give them the click that they want. The title and synopsis above are good enough to get the flavor. It's very telling that they went so hard at copilot 360; they know that the car is a pretty solid competitor and they're trying to hype Tesla's autopilot.

When the auto lane centering disables I get a visual, tactile, and audible notification. At least I'm pretty sure I do; I generally only use it on the highway where it's intended and it rarely disengages for me.
Me too. It’s pretty hard to miss.

Ford's lane-keeping in this regard operates similar to or exactly like my Honda Sense lane-keeping ... visual warning on binnacle, wheel shake, and if you don't respond audio notification (annoying loud beeps I might add) and more aggressive flashes on binnacle.

Zac and Jesse have a video from a couple years ago when Jesse first got his 3 (I think) where they take their Tesla on the road and test what happens when you literally don't touch the wheel. I find it interesting they barely tested Co-Pilot in this regard. I think they wanted to not like it, therefore did not test it ... either that or they _did_ test it, but decided not to publish that part of the video.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there that make things "all or nothing". You are either in "this" camp or "that" camp.

I test drove a MY and it was a fun car. The tech was cool and it seemed cool to have a credit card as a key.

In the end I chose a Mach E because it feels more me. It has character. It doesn't feel sterile. My daughter loves it. She told me she would rather be dropped off at school in the Mach E then the MY. How can someone say no to that?
I really like you comment.
People seem to forget that not all of us decide to buy a car purely based on facts and numbers.
If so, comparing similarly priced BEV's available, would show that a certain brand would go further , drive faster, have better charging network etc., but this is not simply a math decision.
Reviewers also add a lot of their preferences and subjective opinions in there, example being how some people feel the interior of a car is great and the next guys feels it's cheap.
Heart and emotions add to the choice, meaning we decide based on our own feelings how we chose between cars. I make my choice, pay with my money, knowing that in some ways my car would be seen as less than another in either straight math or opinion.

But my opinion is ultimately what counts for me, and I'm mature enough to allow everyone else to disagree, without the desire to verbalize it, or to degrade their choice just to validate my own.
I don't care what someone else drives or their opinion on my car.
All I hope is that my choice makes me happy and their choice does the same for them.

It is childish to be chanting "mine is better than yours" just because you say so.

I'm going to start off by saying that I am a Pontiac guy. Since Pontiac "ain't no more," I try to be objective in the vehicles I test and decide upon. Because of the rabid Chevy fans who frequently and vociferously denegrated my choice of makes, I have a bias against Chevy. This did not stop me from buying one, however. These two guys remind me of those rabid Chevy fans. They are doing a disservice to EVs in general and to their preferred make, Tesla. I guess they do not realize this. Sad for them.

These guys have always been the prototypical Tesla fanbois. No, I haven't watched that video. Don't want to give them the ad revenue. I've seen enough of them to know the mocking tone they surely used.

Tesla's obnoxious fans are the main reason I will never own a Tesla. So many Tesla owners are very good people and genuine car enthusiasts pushing the EV revolution forward. Unfortunately the loudest and most visible fans are transparently disdainful of anything not wearing a Tesla badge and any person who who doesn't share their opinion of the company. The company encourages them to stay that way.

How, you ask? Do you know the story of Rich Benoit (Rich Rebuilds on YouTube)? Short answer, Elon will punish you if you speak up. Long answer:

I won't speak for @noname, but for me it is because I don't take many road trips. I'm not against DCFC, and if I do decide to take a trip that warrants using it I won't hesitate to plug in. As far as plans go though, L2 at home and at destinations.
