Definitely my fault for falling for Ford’s claims that this was a performance car, as it is also the fault of everyone who reserved a 2021 GT in 2019 and 2020 for believing Ford’s claims without a single car having been produced. Post-2021, the cat was out of the bag. The GT should have died as a trim. At least it is supposed to be fixed for 2024. ?‍♂?
I understand what you are saying.

Ford needs to hear how bad the dealer experience is from the customer's perspective, and then actually do something about it. Right now, it's just hand waving and probably amusing to the dealers and some people within Ford.

Everyone that has issues with Ford, their vehicle, dealerships need to let Ford know how bad the experience is. Whether that’s calling them, emailing them, or posting on social media, Ford needs to hear how terrible their customer service is.

My BlueCruise not working is a small issue but Ford’s poor reception and response has made me let everyone know how Ford treats customers. If they treat a person that has purchased multiple Ford vehicles, what do you think new customers are experiencing? Get out and let Ford know. Ford’s focus on seeking new customers and selling vehicles is great but what about the current customers?
I have been lucky that I have a good dealer and have had few problems with my vehicle. What surprises me most is the difference between Lincoln and Ford. I drove Lincoln’s for about 12 years (3 cars) and it’s night and day difference. Lincoln is really organized and professional in dealing with the customer at all stages. I never had to ask for a loaner I’ve my vehicle was going to be overnight no matter the reason they just pulled one in the service department handed me the keys and said it will be ready by X time. They kept me informed at every step. Everything with Ford is an after thought rather than being proactive like Lincoln.

Here’s an “assumption” or more like an opinion; 3/4’s of this forum is nothing but complaining. The 5 second rule, the 12v battery, HVLBQPROSD sic, the brakes, the tires, Sync, BlueCruise not working, BlueCruise not updated to 1.4, depreciation value (that’s a good one), the frunk issues, and on and on and on.

Yes, I’m part of the problem. Yes, I’m unhappy with Ford. NO I’m NOT unhappy with my MachE. I love it. It checks off all the boxes. If I was just plain upset or wanted to be an ass I would be complaining on how all you people with recalls are tying up service so I can’t get my vehicle in and dealt with in a timely manor. I wouldn’t do that because I’ve experienced larger recalls with Ford and GM.
If you don’t agree, that’s fine, but go about your day and don’t feel the need to let everyone know you disagree. Or turn this forum into more than a complaint registry

I have 8 dealers in a 20 mile radius. 40 miles doubles the number, at least.

Loaners, if they give them out since some don’t do that at all, are only given to people ever purchase the vehicle at that individual dealer. Now there are exceptions but most dealers here don’t do loaners at all and you MAY get refereed to a rental company or it’s for customers that have purchased the vehicle from them.

Same goes for warranty work and recalls for any Ford vehicle. A dealer can tell you they won’t service your Ford vehicle because they are independent of FMCO. Doesn’t matter what Ford product it is, ICE or EV, and it doesn’t matter what the type of service it is. Think about that one

We all have different experiences. If you are dissatisfied then choose another product. That is the only real message any business really listens to. As for myself 22GT, 2 years, zero issues, recall work smooth, two checkups and that from a dealer that opted out of Model e. So no complaints (other than I wish they opted in!)
I've said this before. I paid 55K for a vehicle that has not lived up to what it should be. First year or not. That's a lot of wasted money to choose another product.
The recalls are piling up faster than I can get them fixed. Now they have to seal the door seams but I don't think that's enough. It's already corroded.

My dealer has 1 EV tech so getting recalls done takes months.

Yes, 3/4 of the forum is complaining. Hence why I said we don’t need any more encouragement to complain.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

1. Something we say at work- learn how to complain “effectively.” That means talking to the right people, through the right channels and offering solutions.

And Ford gives us plenty of channels for this. Even a dedicated EV line and department as well as a “complaint button” even built into the car. We also get tons of surveys where they’re proactively looking for feedback.

2. The Ford dealer isn’t Ford. They don’t work for the same company and can do very little about each other.

If your complaints (with solutions) are for the dealership- go to the dealership. If they are for Ford- go to Ford.

If you are just complaining without solutions or complaining to the wrong people, it’s a waste of time.

Also a waste to tell people “not to disagree.” This forum is about discussion, not just an echo chamber for people who all agree about things.

Those are not the platforms I would suggest if you really want to affect change.
Write Google reviews of the dealer you are having issues with. DealerRater.com , cars.com, kbb.com, bbb.com.
Places where many prospective buyers look when they are deciding what dealer to do business with. That is how you will have a shot at getting the attention of the dealers.
Be sure to fill out any survey you get from Ford regarding dealer service. Those scores have a significant impact on the dealer and the staff members you work with. That's why they make so many impassioned pleas for you to give them a "completely satisfied".

You have lots of advice and want discussion. You started out with this discussion with snide remarks which weren’t conductive to effective communication. I’ve read your comments on other threads and it appears to me that you like to espouse your opinion and argue. Again that doesn’t produce much a discussion, at least not for anyone but yourself.

Instead of reacting to my post you should have asked me more questions for clarification rather than jump to an assumption. I said before I had gone through the “channels” as you suggest.

I’m guilty of many the things I’ve suggested on here too. If you don’t like what I said, move along and don’t reply. Instead you like to be a Mr Helper and jump into a discussion and everyone you disagree and/or tell them how wrong they are.
I’ve worked with lots of people who have similar habits with communication. We called them defendants but you might know them better as criminals lol. Self absorption and self righteous never were their problem either.

In simple terms…lighten up buddy! It just a car forum.

They were simply examples. I didn’t think I needed to spell out every possible place to write reviews or complain. I assumed most individuals who use this forum could figure this out.

Seriously?!?!? That's your response after complaining that @Mach1E is not contributing to the discussion. Pot meet kettle. SMH.

Neat.

Some people come for discussions and looking for help and solutions.

Some just want to complain and attack anyone who responds.

At least you let us know who we are dealing with. ?‍♂
