OK I'm working on it!
Hi hybrid2bev I am at the dealer but there are 2 deals in front of mine at finance. Just wondering if you could confirm if someone from Ford Credit called Ford Grieco. Thanks.

I know that an email was sent out to the FMCC rep on Friday afternoon. I have not had any feedback since then. If the dealer is still having issues they can reach out to their FMCC rep (who will have access to the information the dealer may need).

I'll do some digging on my side too for feedback.

Hi I sat with the finance person, David Van Fleet (561-278-0303 x1922) He showed me a Ford Option Program with a 7.74% rate. I asked him to look for the Ford Options APR program # 21220. First he said that maybe that program is not available for our region. Later he told that he will call Ford credit. Apparently nobody from Ford Credit has called Grieco Ford.

He should check again, unless they purposely want to hike it up. The truth in lending statement should clearly show 2.25% just as hyrbrid2bev posted an example of. They don't need to add any other residual or money factor etc etc etc to this #. Mine initially did that stating they need to place some .4 money factor (or something) to the formula, and mentioned something about a top line vs. bottom line, and when she reversed that everything was fixed with the #s. I stated it looks like you are running this like a lease deal, but options should be handled differently and that line should clearly show 2.25%... this is how we progressed the conversation to keep trying.

Hi hybrid2bev, I left the dealer without the car yesterday. Later I shared with David Van Fleet the info you had sent a few months ago. No response from him yet.
However, were you able to find out if anyone from FMCC has called or will be calling Delray Ford to help with Ford Options APR program 21220?
Regards.

I'm checking to see what the status is.

I've been told all the information you provided has been sent to the dealer rep.

Just heard back from the dealer rep. We have reached out to the multiple dealer contacts you provided on multiple occasions and have received NO response.

Yeah, the first finance person, Alan, is on vacation till Thursday and David took over last Monday when I was supposed to pick up the car. I haven’t received a response either.
FYI I just read another thread on Mach-e forum where the finance guy when asked about “Ford Options” said to his customer: “... don’t do it”.
hybrid2bev thanks for helping out.

Looks like we've made some progress in reaching your dealer. I think we'll be able to sort this out this afternoon when David is at the dealership.

So, like @generaltso, I decided to get ahead of the game and schedule a meeting with the finance manager at my dealership. We ended up doing this by phone and discussed Ford Options and a number of other topics, trade-in, X-plan, etc. He was somewhat familiar with Options, and the most encouraging part to me was that he acknowledged that his knowledge was limited, and he was going to discuss with Ford to make sure he understood it. I appreciate when someone acknowledges what they don't know, rather than BS'ing some answer.

Overall, I was encouraged by his desire to work with me on all of the topics that we discussed. However, when asking about applying X-plan benefits, he stated that he thought that it might not be possible to combine Ford Options with X-plan. He did not state this as a fact, and as a matter of fact sounded uncertain. So, I told him that I understood that this was a new process to him as well as myself, and I can understand if he does not have all of the facts at the moment. I followed that by saying, if we could determine that combining them was not a problem, would they honor the X-plan pricing? He said that he could not promise me, but that he would look into it.

I do believe that plenty have combined Options and X-plan pricing at this point, haven't they? Does his qualification about this make sense to anyone? What resources can I get a hold of to prove that this is not an issue (if in fact it is not)?

Thanks for any help in advance.

We also stopped by our dealership with the same exact questions, and like you they had not heard of Options. After just under an hour, they were able to build a contract that had everything. So yes, it's possible.

So my dealer just called me and said that Ford Options (which he is calling Ford Flex Buy) is showing 4.9% as the rate. I even sent him a screen grab from Ford.com that is showing it as 2.25%. Does anyone have any links that they could share that shows any more information on the Ford Options plan? Apparently I need help the finance manager out. ;)

Thanks!!
I cannot believe how uninformed these dealers are. How do they stay in business? How do they not know anything about the vehicles they're selling? I found out everything I needed to know with a quick Google search! Or are they just being lying, snake in the grass, greedy weasels?

Hi all - expecting my car [Premium AWD XR] on March 22 and I wanted to flush out the Ford Options program. Here's my email to the dealer. Did I miss anything? Thanks for this awesome forum!

"I have attached the details that I have on the Ford Options plan and just want to confirm the details.
  • Please confirm that the Z plan is available on the Ford Options plan.
  • Please confirm that the $7500 tax credit is available to me as part of the Ford Options plan.
  • Please confirm that the MD state sales tax is included in the "all-in" amount
  • I'd like payment estimates for both 35 + balloon and 47 + balloon Ford Options program (monthly payment and final balloon payment)
  • Ford Options rate is 2.25% (Announcement #: FDCI-25606 Program # 21220)
  • Ford Options Bonus Cash is $2500 (Announcement #: FDCI-25700 Program # 13896)
  • $100 ADA Customer Bonus Cash (Announcement #: FDCI-25841C Program #: 13924)"

Same thing happened to me. He never figured it out so I just purchased, which was my original plan anyway.
