LFP chemistry loses up to 50% charge capacity (range) in sub-zero temps.
Ah so using solid state architecture won't matter if it is still an LFP, is that what you are saying?

My understanding is solid state is an entirety different cell type involving a different state and configuration of dielectric and not related to LFP in the sense as they (LFP) is just chemically different.

LFP chemistry loses up to 50% charge capacity (range) in sub-zero temps. This compares to 20% to 30% for Lithium Ion (NMC).

Note, this 50% is on top of range loss from using heat and pushing through denser air, so realized range loss could be 60%+
I understand that the Tesla model 3 with LFP Has been range tested in the cold and did not do that bad.

I saw that too, but it was unclear if it had the same size or larger batter capacity as compared to the NMC since Tesla isn't as clear on their usable battery sizes.

Or maybe they have a new chemistry that doesn't get hit by the cold as much. Would be nice!
