Significant new functionality with respect for updated Apple Watch support? that's impossible, because I was reading on here just yesterday that the app is embarrassing or some such because no significant functionality is ever added.

I’m not sure where you read that. The app is embarrassing because it is poorly organized and still riddled with bugs.

If you think some folks around here (me included) are overly critical, that’s fine, but don’t let that cause you to defend this app. It is mediocre. Not terrible - just all kinds of mediocre. Of low to middling quality. And even putting the bugs aside, it could so easily be so much better just by tweaking the layout.

Same goes for the entertainment interface. Some minor tweaks and it would be so much more friendly. Primarily around heated seats and climate control... Too many steps for simple changes.

It's not really odd since the frunk button requires an update in the car.

They changed the button layout and now it doesn't show the next scheduled departure time. ?

Got it to work.
- Delete the Watch App from your watch.
- Force close the app on your phone (DO NOT DELETE IT)
- hard reboot phone and watch.
- when the phone comes back up open the FordPass app on your phone and make sure it’s connected
- When the watch is back on reinstall the watch app.
-Try now

It still gave me the loading for a second, then said connect watch to phone (which it was) then the car came up.

It worked thank you!

Nice!! Wish you could add the app to a compilation shortcut on the watch face. Would be a lot easier to just have a shortcut. Seems to be working without issue though!

Also don’t have the frunk option. Guessing my car must be missing an update or something.

It‘s coming. It requires an update in the car.

It's not really odd since the frunk button requires an update in the car.

I was at the dealer on Tuesday and asked them to update all the software including the fix for the charging noise looks like that is the only module they updated.
