Quick takes:

-Hate the new layout, I don't know why they introduced a new step to be able to see everything.

-It appears my license plate number information is gone from Vehicle Details and and when I try to add it back, it disappears.

-My Journeys is back to not working again.

-PaaK worked nicely once, we'll see if it keeps up.
Same problem with me as well.

Guess I spoke too soon. PaaK has failed on me 3 or 4 times in the past few days. In most cases the doors won't open even after waiting about 5-10 seconds (after the initial button press). Just this morning I had to use the keypad to open the door and the password to start the car. I ended up closing and restarting the app after getting to work, hopefully things will start working better after that. Oh well, at least the app is no longer killing my phone battery ?.

Just curious, when I am near the car with my phone in my pants.. I can just push/hold my finger on the button and the doors open..? Why do you press the buttons on the app to open the doors? The only time I use it, if I am not sure I locked the car or when I am not sure the car locked itself when o walked away from the car..

The button I was referring to was the physical button on the door. If things are working as they should, I should never have to open the app for core functionality.

Oh well. Maybe 3.33.0 will be the one that doesn't need to be battery optimized.

Yeah, on Friday FordPass murdered my battery. ?
I noticed the same on Sunday. Very odd, I had outstanding battery use since a version ago. All of a dozen one day it ramped back up again to almost 10% issue over half a day. My phone was also running hot just like before. After force closing the app it has been fine as far as the battery goes.

Since there are server side components to this app I wonder if that might be the culprit. That would explain the sudden odd behavior.

Yeah that is nuts. Has this version always used that much battery, or was it just one particular day?
I didn't have it long enough to know I guess but it's a good question. at this point, for me, it's "wait until next release". Not willing to fight it when I don't have to - PaaK works correctly as long as I launch the app manually which is good enough for me.

No response from fordpass going on the third day now up here. I could give two about fordpass just want to check status on Karma right next door. Such a bad experience this app. Hate there is no workaround and we are tied to it. If it was not for remote start and charging schedule override I could chuck this app for awhile. It is plugged in but that disappeared on the app yesterday so no override here right now anyway. Got the no key detected a couple of times on this version which I did not see on the last also.

Would really like to understand the BMS when this vehicle is parked. Is this a car sleeping or a server problem? One would think with all this AI, plugged into a 240V and a large battery that it is not sleeping it just is not responding? But then some reports here makes me not too sure if AI is really Ai? Really not enjoying how nonresponsive this app has become. The bluetooth stuff seems to be working OK but the app is slow and nonresponsive which sometimes borders on the verge of useless. Sad for such a gr8 car.

You can only see the status of your vehicle when someone else allows it? Will think twice about doing that again. It has to get better for EV's. Pull out paak and charging/status into a bluetooth EV app? All the nobodies can check their tire pressure in the fordpass app whenever they want. Currently this bloated nonresponsive app continues to be a pretty frustrating implementation for this user.

Just downloaded. I’m on iOS 15.0.1 on an iPhone12

Ford Mustang Mach-E FordPass 3.32.0 Released on iOS and Android Screenshot_20211012-191142_Device care

my FordPass just let me know that the version I was running (3.25) 'expired', so I updated to 3.32, and am happy to report that battery use appears solved! At least for me, on an Android Samsung Galaxy 7. Less than 1% battery use even when leaving it up and running all day rather than 'force stop' when parked.

YAY

... totally amazed they did not flaunt this in release notes to encourage updates. It was my #1 reason for not bothering to allow updates until now.
