Well. At another venue, somebody suggested the one thing that I had not tried: Reset my password at the Ford site.

Mark, I'm clueless when it comes to programming. But, even if what you say is correct, I still don't understand why Ford does not show obvious information (that has been requested countless times), like LVB SOC, tire pressure, etc. on the new 5.0 home screen - instead of a big picture of my car (useless) and lots of blank space? You even have to scroll down to see "location" and "settings". Just seems like a poor UI. But I still love my car :^)

And why is there no place to see the current odometer and %SOC on the same page any more?

These are legitimate questions but I'll answer yours and mine with something I said on another post: Asking WHY is a fool's errand.

We should definitely keep delivering Ford lists of things we would rather see. They need and want that feedback. @thecodingart even said so.

I never understood the obsession with LVB SOC and tire pressure; I never think of either. If the tire pressure gets low the car will tell me and I'll fix it.

Under the hood, there are some major major improvements. The UI changes will be a bit YMMV, but the reliability, speed and responsiveness updates should be night and day. There was sooo much we wanted to do but couldn’t due to what’s already out there. We absolutely pushed for the best we could do given our existing limits.

We all were very cognizant of the forum complaints and issues — internally we had the same issues and complaints.

This has been a loooong time coming. Heck I remember my initial pitches for it which feels like a lifetime ago.

Probably already mentioned, but there is so much wasted space on the main screen with the giant (pointless) car photo. My suggestion would be to have a more usable and interactive UI on one screen that requires less hunting and tapping around. I know what my car looks like, please just give more functionality on one large storyboard. Rant over. lol.

• Fixed the issue where users couldn't move past the welcome screen
• Fixed the issue where the Vehicle Health was temporarily unavailable for some vehicles. Tapping Vehicle Health, you will find a Vehicle Health Status list that includes the Odometer reading, Oil Life for gas-powered vehicles, and tire pressure.

Nothing here. How about a fix for the maps not loading.

Just FYI, this was echo'ed off by beta testers as well and isn't unheard in the slightest. Just keep repeating it.

There's a book that could be written around the image situation, and things I simply can't talk about. Give it time though. This is the first pass.

For a while, there was a garage -> home screen transition that started locking some of this into place. Note -- that's gone from the beta.

Between the app updates and the changes to the vehicle dashboard on the Ford website, anybody figure out how to find your extended service plan? When I click into Warranty, I no longer see any mention of my ESP..
