+1 on the removal of charge to 100%. Why @Ford Motor Company would remove a use case as necessary for electric cars as charge to 100 for a road trip is beyond me.
How could you have missed the intuitive "start" button? That means start charging to 100%. It moves the slider to 100% for you.

Last knowledge I had, Trip planner is TBD atm. There's some much better stuff being thought out here. I believe it was already noted that the next generation of vehicles will have a much stronger buy into Android Automotive and Ford has a very close relationship with Google in regard. Do with that knowledge as you will.
Sorry if there is more recent and useful info on TRIP PLANNER. I’m very disappointed the feature is no longer available. The ability to determine your route based on battery status is super relevant to EV driving. Stupid that it’s not available and juggling multiple apps in the car is a real issue.

I fully agree that it's a stupid ommission...or perhaps Ford is trying to get more owners to embrace on their own in-car NAV system, which will include charging stops and avoid using multiple apps.

Actually, I think the in-car NAV is pretty good, including re-routing for traffic. It's major flaw IMO is that you cannot customize your own charging stops if you don't like the ones they advise you to stop at. Or perhaps I am missing something? It's also a royal PITA that you have to physically be in the car to figure out your trip.

Especially for longer trips where the driver may want to actually plan out where they want to go in consultation with other people. For Ford’s benefit - there’s no reason to build a long range EV if the driver doesn’t have the ability to plan a trip with the car accounting for available chargers and range.

I just noticed that when I moved the nightly charge to 100% it offered me a choice to make the change for 'just this once" or "permanently". I'm pretty sure I'd done that change at least once since 5.0 came out and I don't remember that. I checked and I didn't see it explicitly mentioned in update notes.
