FordPass = Partial Response . . Something Went Wrong Try Again Later?

I get this daily, It never wakes the car up and so the app as a car status becomes pretty useless. It didn't used to be this bad. Is everyone seeing this? Unless the car is running and awake, I see this failure about 80% of the time and refreshing the app doesn't "Updated 23 hours ago" after a refresh isn't much help.

Clear cache in app.
Delete app.
Reboot phone.
Reinstall app.

Thanks for the advice, but now it tortally bricked my PAAK and no longer will set it up. I guess now a service appointment is necessary. ugh...

Delete PaaK in the car, reboot phone, and you should be able to re-setup PaaK.

I had to do a few other cleanup reset steps which I already forgot, but then carplay would not connect and yes I had to go into sync reset and delete all car play PAAK settings and then it took it. What a pain. Well now I'll see if the connectivity via FP improves after all that. Hopefully. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Nothing worked. Worse than ever. It just doesn't wake the car up. "something went wrong" uh yeah we know,. :(

I have started to get this regularly also but give it a few hours and the server does eventually respond. It use to be no response from fords servers and now it is partial response which is so much better. If the server does not respond reinstalling the app will most likely do jack. Baffle us with BS and get you thinking that it is your problem and something you can actually fix. Only way it can be fixed is get rid of the dependance on servers for checking the status of your car 30' away. The dependance (control) of ford for basics functions purchased with the vehicle is something that has been a constant hinderance to the enjoyment of the vehicle. They fixed the top row of Paak to work bluetooth so maybe charging, status and departure will come? If not I will not be coming back.

No it is not the car all that is controlled via BT works fine. It is the stuff that needs to go through their servers that does not. They should save and upload their data on their time and not monitor it on ours. The donut app just spins and spins and spins and then comes back partial response with a huge ! in alerts like something is actually wrong? Nothing new wrong just still needs their flakey servers and not much any of us can do to fix that.

How do you know the server is OK? Partial response from fordpass = partial response from fords servers. Especially when you can lock and unlock the car through bluetooth and it is completely awake.

I started getting this with the last app update, seems like a server issue of some sort. Usually restarting the app fixes it for a bit
