Fordpass problems

I had this app since 2017 when I got my Ford fusion. It worked when I first got it. About 2 years ago it stop showing me oil and fuel level. Just a blank screen when I click my 2017 fusion.

Now I add a new Mach-E. App doesn't show Securialert. It's missing. Not sure if anything else is also missing. The plan a trip also doesn't work. Everytime I put in address it says something went wrong. Where is my Securialert? New car and not happy.

Yes, I have tried reinstall and even tried on another device. Still the same problem. No info on 2017 fusion. No securialert on Mach-E 2022. Plan trip doesn't work. Who knows what else doesn't work or what else is missing. If you never had it you wouldn't miss it. I just know about securialert by reading forums.

Ford needs to work on fordpasd. New car and not happy.

It's activated because I can start it, roll windows down ect..

Well contacted Ford. They said there is a known issue with Securialert. Guess it doesn't show up for everybody right now.

They also say couple of years back ford pass stopped supporting Fusion with oil and fuel level readings.

? I have Securialert under that tab, but I don't have Ford Insure.

Not all cars got it for some reason. I don't know if there was ever any resolution to that. When the OTA came out that enabled it, some people got it, and some didn't. Some people have the controls for it, but it doesn't work at all.

As much as I love this car, it's software is probably the reason I'll never buy another Ford. Everything from their phone app, laggy sync 4, to how they roll out Ota updates to the car scream nightmare scenarios for both consumers and support.

Oh you're having an issue with Xyz? Give me a min to look up what software version is on your car then see how long it takes me to find the fix for that specific version...

At first I thought they were being careful with rolling out updates but seeing how slow even their website is, I have a feeling their servers just can't handle too many updates at once.

I just gave up on anything working in Ford pass, I had to roll back to the previous version to get departure times again, but now more than half the screens return a Ford server error.
