Seems pretty unfair you can only get a loaner from your selling dealer. I’d be pretty forceful on getting a loaner or having Ford reimburse you for a rental.

Ok. So. I had a RTE 1. Long story short I got a GT AS a replacement. Worked fine from October to January 4th when it became a brick. The shop had it for three weeks, everything seemed ok. Now I got an alert yesterday about service asap. Of course this happened Saturday afternoon at 4 pm. Well on my app I got power train malfunction/ reduced power AND high voltage battery warning.
Now I have had it back for less than a month and now I have to go back to the shop. Anyone else having a lot of issues? I understand new car and technology but seriously I am getting really upset here. Is there something that I am doing wrong? Car has less than 6800 miles on it and I am getting aggravated with the service department as most of them see, like under trained monkeys. Not the tech the idiots at the counter don’t seem to understand that when it shuts down it’s down. Maybe I am asking for too much

I am 15000 miles in. No problems. Amazed how many people I see who are still struggling

You have to keep it in perspective. Globally over 70,000 MMEs have been sold. If there's 10 people here that we know of with issues that's a fraction of a fraction of a percent. Obviously there's people who don't participate in the forum, but even if we took 10 of the 8kish members we are still talking about very very few.

i might get another upgrade who knows. I just get tired of making car payments and I can’t drive it. Lol. But the good thing is I have really low miles on the car. Next upgrade the premium. I really don’t know if I want the premium. But hey if I get a large enough discount again I might consider it

Do you keep it on the charger mostly or only when needed? What's your charging setup? Do you have any issues with brown/black outs or recently have a power outage when the vehicle was plugged in?

I don’t think that would be causing my problems. But I generally only charge a few times a week to 80-85%. Friday or Saturday I might get to 100. Drain it down to around 20%. Two cars two totally different sets of problems.

Using the travel charger that came with the car using the 240 volt

Interesting enough that you mentioned that. I saw a post earlier from someone who was having a problem with the home charger. I have to go back and find it and read up on it

The one that came with the first car for both vehicles or different chargers?

Interesting how you pointed that out. When we swapped cars they took the charger from the GT to replace the charger that was in the Route 1. I asked them about it and I was told that they were all the same

Hmmm. Not gonna say that's it but in my experience in IT, if a user has multiple issues it's less often bad luck and more often some commonality that can be specific to that user

I have to point that out to the shop. I am thinking about it now
