I found the flimsy OEM cargo cover fairly easy to ignore through the winter and early spring but now that I’m using the trunk much more frequently, I’m more annoyed by how it keeps falling off.

Forum folks have indicated the first gen AOSK cover wasn’t quite ready for prime time. But what about the offerings from Ninte, WooEV, and other internet retailers? I’m seeing a wide range of prices but few details and/or customer reviews.

Thanks in advance for any new market intel.

Does anyone know how to remove the existing one? It doesn't seem like it was setup to come off easily. The loop holes are too small and the plastic tube clip seems to not really pop out.

I‘ve seen others with a 2022 report the same. It’s very easy to remove in a 2021. Ford probably made it more difficult to remove so that it doesn’t pop out by itself.

Same issue. I was told to pull on the pins and wiggle them side to side at the same time, but haven't tried.

Well, that’s ironic. My cover (in a 2021 Job 2) falls into the trunk if you just look at it funny. The eyelet loops are very tight but the plastic rods and clips are far too loose.

Hey - Maybe I’ll try the $1 solution before spending $100+ - crazy, I know:

And it worked!
I tried that for a while not a long-term solution for me. Here is a pic of what I did and its fixed no issues

I like the OEMs 22' never had a problem windows down too. I probably removed it thrice. Maybe the more I remove them and put them back in it will loosen at those pegs. And I'll see what the complaint is about. If Ford did a little redesign, cool.

My previous cuv I had to put a black blanket over the things even with the stock tint you can see through it. Had my car broken in through the rear window because I left things in the back.

Love this cargo cover right now.

hmm ours is otw to warehouse, should in stock in two weeks.
in the previous version, some owners report a tape issue on the product, this time we improved those tape, hopefully it will goes well.
but you could always do a return if that doesnt goes well, since we always here to do the customer service ?

Thanks for the heads up, @AOSK - I bought your 18-pc liner mat set and have been pleased with them!

Same with me. I have a '22 and the loops were glued/sealed so tightly around the pins, I believe it was done after they were attached. They don't appear to come off and I don't want to break it. I had a cover for my GTI that had loops that were large enough to hook on and off.

I promise I'm not an inept person lacking mechanical reasoning. Is this everyone's experience with the '22 models?
