GT Front Seats

Hi,

I got my first EV a 2025 Mach-E Premium over the weekend and I'm lovin' it !!

Has anyone swapped out their front two seats for the GT seats, if so is it an easy install?

I would love to have those seats in my Mach-E.

For the 2025, the premium has ventilated seats, GT doesn’t. You will lose that capacity.

the GT seats on my 23 gt pe are awful, they don't breathe at all so you feel like the seat heater is always on.

I have not noticed that issue on my '24 GT.

I generally find the seats in my '24 GT supportive and comfortable in all aspects. As described by Ford the seats have: Activex™ Trimmed Seating Material with Unique Miko® Reflective Inserts and City Silver Stitching

The seats are only "trimmed" with the Active X leather substitute and they have a cool looking cloth with reflective material under it for the center seat and backrest cushions. They do a great job holding me and the wife in place when I'm cornering hard enough to send everything else in the car flying across the back seat.

So the reason I was asking was because before I purchased my 2025 Premium I test drove a 2022 or 2023 (can't remember right now) but I love how the seats felt so I was just wondering if it was an easy swap out.

I don’t notice this issue with my 23 GT I love the seats. I am someone who takes advantage of the amazing air con though and always keep the cabin very cool. I don’t drive around in the summer with the windows open or maybe this would be an issue for me.

If someone buys a 2025 GT could you swap in the premium seats? Probably the cool ventilation option is not active in the GT software?

It’s not your seat, it’s your state ?. Come up north and you’ll have a better experience.
