Order has now been accepted by the dealer.Just ordered GT in Cyber Orange with Interior Protection Package.
I’m not sure. If you look at the spec sheet wheels, they look a bit different without AerosI think this is the GT Wheel without the Covers.
I wouldn’t even want to give them my business if it took that from ford to pressure them. How did you get ford to do that for you?Just an update. The ford team stepped up big time. They called my local dealer and negotiated my GT PE for MSRP. Super happy!
After my rant I got some help here to tweet Mark Levine. He took it from there.I wouldn’t even want to give them my business if it took that from ford to pressure them. How did you get ford to do that for you?
I haven't yet moved to GT land but if I did, it would be the PE, because the logic would be tied to part of the same logic for why I bought an FE - if I'm going through all this anyway, might as well buy the "best" one. (although in the GT/GT PE case, that's more complicated than it was for the FE, given that the GT has some things like the power passenger seat not in the GT PE)Ordered Red GT...just could not see the value of getting the Performance Edition...just hung up on the loss of range trade off to get 0.3 seconds better 0-60 and better seats/suspension.
No other thread I could find asking this so I will ask: What factor caused you to pick GT PE over GT?
The wheels are better looking. There was a post a while ago saying someone found out the GT standard suspension will have a harsh ride so I want the functionality of Magneride to smooth things out and the PE seats sit lower. I’m 6’3 and the Premium seats left my head feeling too close to the headliner. I like the idea of lower seatsOrdered Red GT...just could not see the value of getting the Performance Edition...just hung up on the loss of range trade off to get 0.3 seconds better 0-60 and better seats/suspension.
