GT PPF

Those of you that have got PPF on your GT, What brand did you use and what was the cost?

X-pel as an example doesn't have the templates yet and I got a quote of $8,000 for full car X-pel which seems high.

I was quoted 1500 for xpel ultimate for entire front of car including hood, fenders and bumper. 8k is outrageous

For full front was $2300.

Insanity. I'm more OCD than your average guy but I can accept touching up some rock chips over that sort of cost. The rest of the body does not need PPF. If you do anything just do the black plastic since it scratches and swirls easily

I’m getting Suntek 10 year on entire front clip, headlights, mirrors, A-pillars, rocker panels (thanks to another forum member) and a strip on the rear bumper where the hatch opens.

$1600.

Formula one also makes a product, manufactured by the same company who makes Suntek PPF. Any of those or XPEL are great options.

I'm dropping my GT off in an hour for XPEL PPF.

Full front, full hood, full front fenders, mirrors, rocker panels, and ABC pillars.
Also getting the whole thing ceramic coated, and my front 2 windows tinted.

$3500 total.

Got a quote form an installer who came highly recommended. Ceramic below and ontop of Xpel PPF. $3995

They did Xpel Prime CS on my windows. The window tint was free if you get any Xpel PPF package done at the same visit.

Xpel doesn't seem to have the templates on their website, but the shop that did mine uses their templates and had no problems getting my GT done.

According to precutpff, xpel only has the bumpers. 3M has whole car.

I wasn't going to do it on my FE when I first got it. It sounded nice, but didn't want to spend the money on it. Then you realize just how easily this paint gets rock chips in it.

I dropped my GT off with 500 miles on it to get done, and it already had a rock chip in the hood. My FE had 2000 miles on it when I got it done, and it had like 8 chips in it already.

It is more noticeable on the grabber blue though. When it chips off you see white underneath it.
