The title says it all. Appears to be frozen as we've had wicked winds/freezing rain/snow. I park outside. Tried every trick I found online but just can't get the damn thing open. Luckily have to go to the dealer tomorrow for something else, and I should have enough charge.

Should be an easy fix for the dealer. But before you get there, try opening and closing the frunk to see if it functions ok. I’m in Michigan just below you and this recent weather froze my frunk latches temporarily. Bomb cyclone was brutal.
So 50 mph winds drove moisture into every crevice possible.

On my forth winter. Just had to bring it inside and hit it with a heat gun. Only the second time I’ve had to do it. And my car spends a lot of time parked outside overnight in whatever shit weather the snow belt of northern ny can throw at me. So it shouldn’t be real common but it does happen.
It’s easily one of the worst parts in this car. My 2018 F-150 just has a nice door I can open with one finger. No latch. No remote release. Just a spring hinge. Anyone can open it and that’s fine with me. In the list of things to be concerned about, I’d be more concerned someone would try siphon my gas than someone trying to steal my electrons.

Once you have it open, the Canadians have an accessory that you can buy to keep the ice off of it. Worth giving a shot.

Pull your top eyelid over the bottom one and blink fast afterwards.

But seriously, mine fails to open occasionally first, second or subsequent attempts and just needed a thump at the back over where the catch is and it opens.
