Hey all, I just had this problem start happening a couple weeks ago. It's not a huge problem, just annoying when getting my kid in the car to open my door and then his. Any other people with this problem? Is it already covered by a TSB?

I actually just noticed this same issue yesterday for the first time. Thought it was maybe a one off thing. Will be curious to see if more owners chime in about this.

Had update 21P22 installed Monday and the this problem disappeared - but came back today. I'll report it, but I'm not expecting much to happen anytime soon.

Other 21P22 observations include the GOM tracks much closer now. My morning commute is ~ 22 miles and the GOM reports 23-24 miles range used. I precondition, morning temps are in the low 30's here.

When charging at home (220V), there used to be a noticable hum from the car, sometimes accompanied by fan noise. Now the car is extremely quiet while charging. The first time I charged after the update I had to verify the charge light was blinking on the car and EVSE to make sure something was happening.

There is a way to fix this at home. I had this same issue really bad would never open front door always had to open back door first. The way to fix it is access the 12V battery in the Frunk by removing the panels on the driver side. Take a 10MM wrench and remove the 12V battery terminal on the Positive side for a min. Put it back on and it fixes the issue. Only downside is it resets your GOM but that will come back to where it was when you drive a few hundred miles. It works I read about it on here and did it myself took less than 10 mins those panels come off easy and so does the terminal.

That is so good to hear regarding the hum. Mine is getting the recall and 21P22 completed, the hum was crazy, but I thought it was normal until I saw a few posts. I didn't think that it would go from that loud to super quiet! That's fantastic. Hopefully the fan or whatever still kicks on when it needs to.

There was a TSB for the fan hum while charging that i had applied when they replaced my Power Steering Module that failed.

I recently started having the same issue: rear drivers-side door won't open unless I open the front drivers-side door first. It's a one-off kinda thing -doesn't always happen. This is a 2023 Mach e, a little more than a month old, so I'm sure I have all the updates. I'll check back to see if there's a fix

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.
