Hands free liftgate

Even a caveman(me) can do it with help from the boss. We installed it a couple of years ago and it's still working good. You just need to think it through and follow the video.

I’ve never had a hands-free liftgate that works by waving your foot but it seems easy enough to understand. Except it doesn’t work on my new MME. I’ve tried scanning the QR code (doesn’t scan), and checking the settings on the in car manual. Really not sure if this has to be activated or if I’m just using it wrong?

It was installed on some 2022s but I understand that parts were hard to get so it wasn’t enabled.
I used Forscan to flip the right bits and it works on my 2022. I used it a few times and turned it off.

Btw, understandably this thread is about the liftgate of course naturally I would have thought the same thing if I was in your shoes; secondly, not sure if you installed the EV Vida Handsfree Kit but if you did we are glad you still use it! It’s a really good mod and in our opinion far more sensitive than OEM Ford.
