Headlights and automatic on off setting.

Hey folks is anybody out there that has had an experience like I've had with the automated headlights if I leave it on the automatic setting from time to time I get a loud beeping every time I try to exit the car after I turn it off it takes a couple of times to turn the car on and off again to get the lights to stop beeping after I turn the car off generally the behavior was the car would turn off and the automatic lights would turn off. What I found was just to turn the lights completely off I have to do this at least three times a week and it's been ongoing since I got the car does anybody know what's going on here or experienced this before thank you in advance for your help answers.

This is a known problem with a bulletin out, your dealer will replace the switch.

There's a TSB/SSM for the headlight switch module to get replaced.

It's a glitch with the chip inside the control switch and it loses communication with the vehicle and leaves the headlights on.

You can find a thread on here. I had mine replaced at my dealer.
