Hello! Mach-E in, Model 3 out

Greetings, all! I just took delivery of a Mach-E (select, extended range, AWD) on Saturday. It has replaced my '21 Model 3 Performance. My first Ford, my 5th EV. Looking forward to getting to know the car better in the next few days/weeks.

So far, the Mach-E has the advantage in ride noise, comfort, and build quality. I also know it won't depreciate faster than a used mattress. The Model 3 is definitely faster (duh), and I think the Tesla does a better job of using screen space to get all the information without having to switch "apps." But I have not done a super deep dive into all the Mach-E settings.

Unfortunately it got dirty right away because snow was melting all weekend, but here it is:

I made the same upgrade from a Model 3 to a Mustang Mach-E myself, but a few years back. Never looked back.

Welcome to the forum, Matt. I’m on my second Mach-E, depreciation be damned. Cause appliances are for the kitchen, not the garage.

Oh so sorry OP. You think the Tesla depreciates hard, you are in for a rough ride with the Mach E.
On the contrary, the Model 3 is the slowest depreciation of EVs whereas the Mach E is the worse according to this article - 5 Slowest Depreciation and 5 Fastest Depreciation EVs

Thanks guys! I should clarify: It's not that this won't depreciate, it's that I don't care -- 24 month lease!

And to add some context, I bought my Model 3 in Sept. 2021, so no tax credit at that time. I sold to Carvana this month at 42% of purchase price with 21,8xx miles. They were the best offer by $2k.

Congrats on the new ride. Gotta say I do like that new green paint job...

I had originally thought that only the 2025 Selects were available with a extended range battery, but now I see that 2024s are available with it.

Welcome. So GD jealous of the color. I mean Sheeba is easy as hell to find in a parking lot but green is my favorite color (not an option back in June 2021).

I am always interested in those that move from a Model 3 or Y to this car. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.
