I don't. OP doesn't know if it's a large percentage. That's why I suggested a poll. To gather some actual data. Based on the number of posts it seems to me like a small percentage. I have absolutely no problem being proven wrong. I will not acknowledge being 'guessed' wrong. There is a post earlier in this thread that declared as 'fact' that all MME IPCs make noise, when in fact that's just his opinion.

Well, my dealer said all this is normal and all of them have it. I tested a test-drive vehicle myself - it have the issue.
It would be great if we find one with no issue, it would mean our vehicles can be fixed.
We still have the problem and want it fixed. You haven’t even got your vehicle yet.

I'm trying to decide what to do if Ford never fixes it.

I'm currently on Ford Option. My intention was to pay it off in a few months, once I decide to keep the car beyond 3 years (Ford Options). I normally keep a car for longer. Mach E is perfect, except that the screen whining is extremely annoying. I don't notice it most of the time, but it keeps catching my attention at unexpected times. It turns out I actually like how Mach E does on road trips. So the screen is really my only complaint.

I'd be willing to pay a moderate amount to Ford to silence the screen.

Same here, I try to drive in a way where I don’t hear it (music up and/or windows down), but catching me at unexpected times is exactly how I would describe it, then it gets hard to unhear and drives me nuts.

Just got my MME Select - built March 31st - can confirm there is a (pretty loud) whine coming from my instrument panel, not the main screen. Did not notice it in the CR1 I test drove.

Yes, I don’t remember it was on the unit I test drove a while ago, but I was listening to music.

I did not notice a whine in the MME that I test drove. I had the radio tuned to talk radio and the windows down. When my GT-PE gets to the dealer I will need to do a more complete test drive of it.

If it's _not_ in the GT-PE then it might mean they realized they had an issue and fixed the panels. In which case there's a way forward for the rest of us.

I hope so, but if it is not in my GT-PE it still might be a problem in someone else’s GT (hoping that is not the case).

If you have been experiencing this issue, please send @Ford Motor Company a private message about it based on their instructions from their introductory post today.

A good way to get visibility for the problem so Ford sees how widespread an issue this is.

I fear it could be impossible to record.. as sometimes I hear a high pitch sound and if you turn your head different position you hear it more or less but can a recorder record a so high pitch sound?
