Higher than expected range question

I have noticed that on occasion I get a range when fully charged that is beyond what I would expect. I have a 2021 Mach-E Premium AWD which is rated at 270 miles on a full charge. When I charged to 100% yesterday (starting at a fairly low remaining charge level), the car showed 338 miles. Does anyone have any idea why this might happen (not that I'm complaining! )?

Bully for you! Might be ambient temp? EVs typically do better in warm weather, which it certainly is most everywhere right now.

Why this might happen?

You’re driving like a grandma. Drive faster if you want your range to go down.

Cars have had range estimates for a long time now. It’s like no one ever looked at them before owning an electric car.

I have the opposite problem with a 22 Premium 4wd. First time I charged to full the GOM said 282 miles. After 2+ months it’s settled ~245 miles on a full charge. Why? I live in the SF Bay Area - tons of steep hills - and drive aggressively. If I ease up on the accelerator and drive awhile in a flat area it will go further. Point is, it factors in your driving history and patterns.
