Typically, one charge cycle is counted each time you've added 100% to the battery. So 10 charges from 80-90% count as one charge cycle.

I suppose that means my 507 connections to charge points translates to around 250 full charge cycles.

But does that worry me any more or less??‍

Nope!

Still won’t buy extended warranty or let it spoil my life or enjoyment of EV and ‘Stangy worrying about it as much as ICE-age man’s apparently concerned that my HVBLGBTQ or battery’s almost always on the verge of failure.

Oh, and I’m still at 96.5% SoH proving there’s really nothing to worry about

I love hearing this! I have a 3/2021 Premium. 70k mikes. Same tires, replace the front sensor and precollission. I love my car!

70k on a set of tyres? Impressive. Used to get c56k before I evolved from the ICE-age man. Those Mich CC2s are wearing very well. C15,000 miles and fronts worn to 4.7mm and rears to 5.9mm. Thing CC2s come with 7mm.

I guess the decimal point was a cost-saving measure.

Just a tad more miles than my Aug '21 GT PE now with 7,800 miles. ?I expect to have 8,250 or less by the time I put it to storage for the winter - Nov through Apr.

I think the question for you is how much of that has been either track or Dragy runs? 50% or more? ??

I bought my 2023 Mustang Mach-E Select on July 31st this year. 10 days later I got the SVS festival of lights. Typical Ford service, "Make an appointment...we're booked for three weeks...we have to order a new HVBJB...blah, blah, blah". It was still drivable and seemed fine, but I refused to charge it anywhere but home until after the HVBJB got replaced.

They ended up replacing the HVBJB with one that caused the SVS "as soon as it left the bay". I got two HVBJB replacements on one work order. I am not sure if that counts as two for lemon law purposes but we will see.

This is my first weekend in two months I can drive it and charge it at a public charging station. I need to find the good charging stations along the routes of my favorite destinations between San Francisco and San Luis Obispo. I live about half way between the two and California has plenty of charging stations, although over half of them seem to be for Teslas.

Better than my 69 Mach 1- they never expected 100,000.

LOL my ‘72 Blazer’s 5 digit odometer rolled over back to zero at least 10 times before I bought it. I have rolled it over three times myself. ??

It does seem kind of dumb of Ford to stop at 6 digits with the digital display on the MME. Are pixels really that expensive to change color on? ??

Plugshare.com is my go-to for charging stations and their reliability and ABRP for route planning.

That happened to me too, but I had a 2021 MME with the older HVBJB hardware. They replaced the HVBJB and during the post-install test drive, the newly-installed HVBJB failed and they had to do it all over again. Given that you have a 2023, it's a bit disconcerting that you're having the same problem. At least the warranty on the HV system is 100,000 miles...

I think it is more important how long the battery sits at a specific charge. Leaving the battery at 100% for a week is much harder on the battery than if you charge it to 100% and then drive shortly after. So if you charge to 100%, drive around for a week until it gets to 50% and then charge it back to 100, the battery is sitting still at an average of 75%. Or something like that. It isn't sitting at 100%.

For example, Ford does not recommend storing the car for a month with the battery charged to 100%.
