Here are a few pics, with and without the extension, trunk easily opens without contact, but does add a bit more wobblePics please when you can.
Without the extension? That is nice. Mine hit with the new rack, I didnt think about buying one with a longer tongue. But the extension allows our highlander to also open the truck with the rack on.Same here. The trunk opens easily for me even with the bikes on the rack

Agreed, from the back it looks good, but from the side looks almost like I have a tailpipe! Although from a higher angle it's not visibleMaybe it doesn’t bug others as much, and I’d certainly deal with the visible receiver if there were no other options, but I much prefer the invisible look of the Draw Tite Hidden Hitch For the 98% of the time that I don’t have the bike rack installed.
My solution pics are attached... used the OEM cut of the bumper cover, modded for my rear pull shackle, plus some H pattern rubber strips and safety wire to securely hold things together.Hi all,
I got the UHaul hitch installed yesterday and am now thinking of how I could cover up the holes on either side of the hitch to keep dirt, snow, etc. from getting up in there.
My first thought is to cut the piece of plastic that they cut out in half and then somehow glue or attach it to either side maybe using construction double sided tape that I've used to attach the corvette mounting pucks for lifting the MME. I could probably attach one half with the excess inside of the rest of the plastic frame but am not sure how I would do the same with the other half when I can't get my hand up in there.
Your thoughts and suggestions would be most appreciated.
