I just thought I would share my experience connecting FordPass to HA. I have 2 Ford vehicles now, so I decided to connect the Mach-E, too. After a few hours, I got an email saying Ford detected suspicious activity and locked the account. After a couple of rounds of it. I decided to setup another account and connect each vehicle with one account to HA, and since then, everything has been working fine. I guess this keeps the account below its API threshold that Ford has setup and blocks the account. Hope this helps in case anyone else is looking to setup HA automation with multiple vehicles from Ford.

home assistant in the case is referring to https://www.home-assistant.io/ and there is an add-on that connects to the fordpass API (currently the older, unofficial for outside devs API) to gather data and you can display it in various ways and provide alerts, etc.

I've been trying to find a way to integrate FordPass into Home Assistant but when I try to use my credentials in HA, despite everything working in a browser, it keeps telling me my credentials are invalid. Ugh! At least I've been able to connect my Wallbox EVSE to Home Assistant.

Make sure you are using the 1.70 Branch and use the login process in the GitHub Documentation

I did this private browsing window it worked fine:

I tried with that version and all I got was an error message about incorrect credentials but when I test those very same credentials on a browser, everything works so I'm outta luck I fear.

What's the latest status on that? I'm about to setup a Home Assistant instance and am not sure if should go for FordPass connection as many people report to be locked out after connecting third party services
