Not even for the Today show? ?

This shows the age of the people making the decisions as far as what we have access to. Anyone under the age of 60 should realize that people in their cars do not want a dedicated app for the today show. Youtube? Sure, I guess? But netflix/hulu/disney+ is what people want.

I'm guessing this was the absolute cheapest licensing they could get.

There's a certain demographic they may be aiming for, also they already had a channel that just streams all day and that's what is on the car now. I think they wanted to test it out with that.

I think the problem isn't who they are aiming for. It's who they have aiming it. I'm guessing the decision makers in this are in their 60s and think the Today Show is a popular option.

Probably some money changed hands as well with Comcast/NBC. Those apps are like 75% ads anyways.

Mine worked pretty well. I have my iPhone 13 Pro hotspot, not paying Ford to stream YouTube...
