How do you keep the traction control off?

so new update,

I got the bluecruise 1.3 update and I can't use the automatic lane change

The exact same thing that happens with traction control happens when I hit the lane centering button. It turns on for a second, and then turns off.

"unfortunately we can't do anything about your broken car until you pay us money, even if it's an issue caused from how your vehicle was made"

The good news is that I'm sure if anyone in this thread gets theirs fixed, they will let others know.

My powertrain warranty runs out in January or February so I was trying to get them to use that to cover this somehow

I just was at the dealership yesterday for some other warranty stuff, and apparently there's an update that fixes this! Happy to provide video proof if needed, but Ford has a fix for this!

Now if they can just figure out the solution for the blue-cruise 1.3 lane change toggle button also not working....

I am hopeful that this update makes it OTA soon. I do not want the hassle of having to talk my dealer into installing it. But, if I don't have the update by the time it turns cold around here, I will likely cave in and start the process of requesting a no charge visit given my car was with my dealership for a solid month last fall for this issue.

I have the receipt for it I can post later today, but the service advisor just said that the tech happened to install and update, and it was fixed. They were working on thing unrelated to this and it just happened to work.

My dealer called to schedule me for this and the 12V lockout recall. I asked him about the recall fix being available for 21s and he realized it‘s not, so I told him to wait and do them both at the same future visit.

Just had my 21 job 1 in for it's yearly state inspection and the tech updated the PCM, SOBDMC, SOBDM, BECM and the IPC. Just checked and after only four years I am finally able to turn off the traction control and it remains off.

Can confirm, I took it in the day PMass said theirs was fixed and they have fixed it on mine now. Charged me for it since my warranty was up in Feb. Even though the issue existed for a year of them saying nothing they can do. Ah well... Its fixed now. Hopefully it stays that way.

How much did the fix cost you? I've got the same issue.
