Imma guessing someone objected to the green paint. But no worries - that’ll buff right out.
That link should come with a warning!
Sounds like the tin snips approach is a little easier. To answer your question if you were really interested in knowing, you need to lift up the hood and remove the trim covers over the headlamps to get to the screws on top. Then remove the entire bumper cover to get to the screws in front.
My thoughts exactly. Between tin snips and an angle grinder, there's not much that is secure...Sounds like the tin snips approach is a little easier.
Maybe we could buy some premium headlights to install on standard?it is very common to steal headlights in our area, but no one is stealing from EV's. And I believe mach-e's are very safe as there are not so many of them and no-one will buy used ones. Simply no aftermarket. But for X5, XC90, Cayanes etc. it is easy to wake up and find out that lights are gone
That's like some new photo: auto snuff photos. Truly horrifying to behold.
do they steal headlights also in France? I was sure it is Eastern European problemMaybe we could buy some premium headlights to install on standard?
Nah they steal catalytic and particule filters. so we are quite safedo they steal headlights also in France? I was sure it is Eastern European problem
They're not cheap. Also on backorder apparently. It cost $190 to replace one headlight on my old 2011 Acura TSX. You had to take the bumper off to do (I did it once myself. Once).
One of the first questions I asked the guys at the Ford dealership was what they thought it would cost to replace an MME headlight. They guessed a grand. That might be a bit steep but I'm sure it's more than $190.
