How hard to get refund deposit?

I have been calling local dealer since Jan 2022.
I called 7 times these past two days. They always say they will call me back, because general manager is in meeting....etc. But Never call back.
Even I went there yesterday she said she will send email to general manager again and will call me end of day to update, still no call back.
What can I do?
Dealer is Puente Hills Ford.

Update:
Yesterday, I called Ford Corporation(not dealer) to tell them what happened on me.
They called to dealer Financial department.
Finally, I received confirmation of refund today by email.

I never want to make any deal with Ford.....

Have you considered walking in to meet with the GM (at a time when he's less likely to have a sales associate weekly meeting)?

Talk to the finance person. Refund should not take any time to submit. Up to 7 days to get processed by your card.

It is best to do it face to face. I walked into my dealer and told the sales manager I would like a refund. He had to check to make sure they got the deposit from Ford, which took about 10 minutes. Then he processed the refund back to my credit card using the reader in the showroom.

Not to go against the opinions and suggestions of everyone else…but, the dealer you used on ford.com is technically not obligated to refund you’re deposit. It says right there on the order screen. Each dealership has its own T&Cs.
Now, if someone else on here used the same dealership and got their money refunded then you have recourse.

You paid the deposit online, and it was given to the dealer. The dealer can refund it in any way they sit fit, assuming your deposit with them was refundable.

Now, if someone else on here used the same dealership and got their money refunded then you have recourse.

I have to agree with the above.....However, there is always a caveat to any deposit considering the Dealer is an honorable one which there is hope out there nowadays.

Also when you made the deposit online....Did you read the fine prints on refunds? You may want to review your documents or receipt when you made that deposit.....

FWIW: The Ford fine print that @joes723 posted was there when I was about to order my MME last July. And so before pressing the button, I called my dealership - and they confirmed they would refund if I cancelled my order. I was pretty sure they would but better safe than sorry…

His complaint is not about the dealer refusing refund, his problem is lack of communication and dealer incompetence.

If his dealer has a no-refund policy, they could easily tell him so instead of BS he’s being handed.

If you look at your statement you’ll see that it was charged by the dealer, they would have your money.
mine got refunded back to the card, and I assume most would do it that way.

I did confirm local dealer willing to refund deposit if I cancel order before I placing order.
