@Tommy303 does the GT have 3 driving modes, and did you punch it in unbridled. The off line jump is sluggish to me too, but once rolling even my premium snaps your head back in unbridled mode.

JRT-It does have the 3 driving modes, yes. I definitely didn't have the snap off of the line that I expected, but I thought that was probably due to the nature of the electric motor. I do remember that it did impress me when I punched it on the highway; 55-85 was really quick. I only had 15 minutes with the car so far, so my experience is extremely limited. I'll be picking mine up in about 3 hours though.

I would imagine it's going to be different on a full charge and one person in the car, can't wait to hear how it goes!

Has anyone seen any performance reviews yet? I've checked Ford Authority, Jalopnik, Autoblog, and some others, but nada. I read about an embargo, but does that include customer cars? I kinda wish one of the major YouTubers, (Raiti, DeMuro, etc) were in my area. I might be willing to volunteer as tribute...lol

But I'm sure that it won't be more than a few days at the most when some of those reviews come out.

No reviews yet, we all tried to get the Red GTPE guy to upload at least some videos and he hasn't yet. So even if you uploaded a few quick videos you'd still be the first. Not that it means anything other than everyone else will finally see what it's like in a GT.

The embargo would likely include customer cars if the people posting the videos want to keep a relationship with Ford for future reviews...so I'm betting they'd decline if you were to offer.

Yeah but I'm guessing most people here aren't professional reviewers and wouldn't be affected by any of it if they put it on YouTube.

I'm at the dealership doing my paperwork and asked the service department to get the aero covers off. They said that after pulling the wheels off, the covers are solidly fixed onto the wheel somehow. They're plastic, and you can pull the top out slightly, but they don't see a way to get the covers off without breaking them.

I'm going to go to a tire shop after I leave here and try again.

There's no way that could possibly be true. So Ford is going to install metal wheels with a non removable piece of plastic? They'd make the whole thing metal if that's the case.

Aside from that, the car is looking pretty sexual right now, man that thing is clean. I can't believe how much I like the silver too.
