I would definitely want the dealer to remove the aero covers if you actually have to completely remove the wheel to do it. Seems kind of drastic to need that, how many people are going to take the car home and start removing the wheels? Some people don't even have a jack to do that.

Why not both!? ?‍♂
Just tell them not to put it on there in the first place. Done that many times. I’ve had no issues with them complying…

She’s a beauty, I so love the looks of the GT.
I hope I can get my dealer not to install those plastic aero covers, looks so much better without them.
Ford sells black lug nuts, I think they would look stunning with those wheels.
Congrats on your new MME GT.
Here is the link to the GT/GTPE wheels from Ford - $1231 each
https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/wheels-and-tires/wheel-parts/wheel-13888331-1

The lug nut part numbers are listed also. FYI - the Ford locking lug nuts are $55 a set. Know that when the dealer tries to charge you $1000

4. The ride was very smooth. I purposely chose the base GT because my Mach-E will be my daily driver and winter car. I thought the extra $5000 wasn't worth it for the Magnaride; especially because I have it in my Shelby and that thing rides on the rough side, (just as God intended a Shelby to ride like...lol). Regardless, I felt the ride in the base GT was more SUV than Shelby...and I like that.
You think magneride was going to make the Mach e ride worse? I think that’s kind of the opposite of the point of magneride

No, I think he was saying the magneride doesn't make much difference to harshness and the Mach E GT was smooth enough.

As for the aero covers, on the Route 1 you do have to remove the lug nuts to get them off. It's not that big of a deal, but you can certainly ask the dealership if you're worried about it

They've already thrown an ugly dealership sticker on it? YUCK!!!

But congrats!!
This is illegal in MD. A lot of stealers do it anyway but my selling dealer not only didn't put any scaffolding like this on my car but also had me sign a consent to allow them to put a license plate frame on mine (which I promptly replaced).

Is it not adjustable? My MKX had adaptive suspension which was adjustable. Man, that thing had an awesome ride.

It will be interesting to see the acceleration numbers and the lap times of The Mach E GT vs the Shelby GT 500.

The new GT500 will crush the MME GT on a track. More cornering grip (a lot more), less weight, more power. However, the MME GT will likely "feel" faster much of the time on the street due to the instant torque.

That means it was moved to the Voltz train yard to catch a ride on a Norfolk Southern train sometime "soon". Friendly suggestion: it might be better to continue further discussion on this in one of the other general tracking threads. :)
