Thanks. I will waiting.
I think it's been written here before that they used navigation. Was it some kind of fork and not a working version yet?
I can actually use the fork as well and possibly contribute.
Comma attempted turn by turn navigation, but it hasn't gone well. In fact they removed it from the latest version because they are starting from scratch on it, with a plan to begin that new development in October. Even if the Comma model was good at navigation, Fords don't support making turns yet.

You can see my expounding upon why Fords can't make turns yet here:

https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...fork-for-comma3x-openpilot.24241/#post-457706

If you have the skills to help with the development of getting Fords to make turns, we welcome all the support we can get.

The one I ordered from amazon got delayed, due to CrowdStrike outage. but then I found OBD2 extension that I purchased while ago, and it worked with my application.

OBD2 Extension:
https://www.amazon.com/OLLGEN-Extenstion-Diagnostic-Extender-Adapter/dp/B01AUN6XBG

ATX cable:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N575KCR
Not confirmed if it will work, if its the same size (3mm), it might work with some modification.
Unfortunately the linked ATX cable plug is larger than the harness plug. I guess I'll do some cutting & soldering to use it as an extension.

I just received my replacement harness & it's working perfectly!

Not one hint of an error or warning. :)

I’ve been using the OBD2 extension for a while and no issue so far, and forgot to open the ATX cable package

You really only need the ATX to keep the device powered between drives. If you are okay with it rebooting every drive then you can just skip it.

The other thing that might be an annoyance for some is that it looks like you can’t change most settings once the 3x finishes booting & engages with the car’s systems if you don’t have the OBDII connected. With the OBDII connected, that’s not a problem because you can access the settings with the car turned off. I suppose once you settle into settings that work for you, it’s not an issue.

you can go into the first page of the menu and there is a button to “force off-road” this gives full access to all settings.

I can confirm that today I was unable to use Forscan with my Mongoose while the Comma harness was in place. Even with the device unplugged and the relay closed, I was getting timeouts. That doesn't really make sense to me, because it should be like solid wires with the relay closed, but I tried 4 or 5 times and couldn't edit a module. As soon as I removed the harness it loaded on the first try.

Probably means we need to remove the harness when taking the vehicle in for maintenance too. Very disappointing.
Seems to work with my Mongoose+ as long as the 3x is unplugged. I was able to reset DTCs & write to modules without any problem.

Bluepilot 1.1 is finally ready. I'm actually going to be out of pocket until Monday, but I decided to push it out. If you have any problems, revert back to stable until Monday.

The new release is under the branch "staging." We are moving away from the name "experimental" because Comma already uses that for too many things. From now on, "staging" is the cutting-edge branch.

Here are the highlights:

  • New lateral control scheme including using the "curvature_rate" signal to help increase the amount of curve that can be taken without driver intervention
  • New calculation for "steering limited" messages. Should reduce the number of false alerts
  • New Ford-specific menu with tuning parameters for lane change, anti-ping-pong, and corner-cutting
  • Ability to toggle BlueCruise UI (on compatible clusters), including hands-on and eyes-on-road messages in the cluster.
Here is a brief video on the tuning parameters:

If you already have Bluepilot installed, you can just choose the new branch from the drop-down menu; if you don't, then the installer URL is:

Awesome! When I put that URL in my Comma 3x it says "No custom software found at this URL."

Am I doing something wrong?

Okay, thanks. I get it. It's not all that hard to do.
I've read everything, but I'm not quite sure about the navigation.
Does autopilot now work in the city using navigation?
Or is it an "improved" version of blue cruise for now? Just lane centering and cruise?
I have question what harness you buy to you comma 3x for mache
