Yes, my hope is that they will come to their senses with the pricing as existing subscriptions expire and the take rate on renewals goes to almost zero.

Good morning everybody, I'm not sure if it's the proper place to ask but if not, I appologize. I have MME premium 2022 AWDLR with blue cruise 1.0. I went to the recall 26S56 (replacing HVBJB) and I asked if they can upgrade my BC for 1.3. They said no, you have to pay 3 hours labor to get it. Is this normal? Where can I contact Ford to be able to update my BC? Tks a lot in advance (I'm in Quebec Canada)

If they are not going to put out updates in a timely fashion, they can't be charging $75 a month for it. That's bullshit.

Worst part is I've gotten every other update pretty much immediately, just never the bluecruise one.

As someone else with BC 1.0, you will never get 1.2. We’re all being upgraded straight to 1.4

Aren’t the rollouts that are out to EA users and currently paused pushing BC 1.4? There hasn’t been any updates for 2021s to any other version of BC until this point either. So kind of just a simple logical jump as source

The whole situation is nuts. They quadruple the price and then promise the upgrade by the end of last summer, for a feature that wasn't even advertised (or listed on the sticker) as a subscription. The new price is outrageous, and we still don't even have the upgrade or any information as to when it might arrive. We get (only) positive announcements in this forum for Ford's social media team, but then they immediately go silent at any sign of trouble or any critical question. What a slap in the face, not to mention a terrible look for Ford.

Nobody knows. No version of BlueCruise beyond BlueCruise 1.3 has been released by the Ford Motor Company

Saying "nobody knows" is technically incorrect. There are a number of EA users, including Job 1 cars, that have had 1.4 since mid December.

There is a setting to turn off speed limit sign recognition. I turned mine off and haven't missed it.

Same here. The car was always changing to speeds where there may have been a construction zone. With the speed limit sign recognition turned off I love BC.

Do not pay for BC until @Ford Motor Company starts regularly updating it. There are many people on this forum who are stuck at the BC version that came with their car. Advanced Cruise with Lane Keeping and hands on the wheel works fine and doesn't cost $800/yr.
