Background:
Just had the car in for TSB 23-2155 to fix the camera fault and pre-collision assist not available issue. Tech replaced the coax and it did the trick. At the same time, dealer performed recall 23B50 (Charge Cord Stuck - Reprogram SOBDM) and recall 22P31 (Replace Electronic Parking Brake Harness Connector).
Issue:
Morning of dropping the car off, the exterior door keypad worked as it always has (use it daily). In the evening after getting the car back, I went to access the car via the keypad and it didn't work. By not work, I mean it would not light up when touched, no matter what I did. When ignoring the light up occurrence and just entering my personal code or the factory code, nothing happens. Additionally, when using the FOB to access the car and then exiting the vehicle, I like to hit the lock icon below the keypad to lock it without it honking in my garage. That also does not work anymore.
Other issue (possibly not connected), for the past 3 years, when I hit the door open button, it takes one press and the door opens instantly. Now, for all doors, it takes 3 presses to open (2 if the car is unlocked with the FOB). Press #1 - Mirrors fold out and lights come one, Press #2 - Nothing happens, Press #3 - Door opens. It does not matter how fast you press the button, i.e., 3 times in one second or 3 times over 10 seconds.
Thoughts:
I unplugged the 12v for a minute to see if that hard reset something to make the keypad work and nothing changed. I'm curious if maybe the keypad was unplugged while changing the coax cable for the TSB? Also, I don't think any of this is related to SSM 49676 since there is no alarm issue and all doors open with 3 presses.
Feedback would be appreciated. I contacted the dealership but they aren't responding and I'm hoping to not have to drop the car off for a whole week again as I just got it back...
Thanks
