Good morning all. I have been searching the forum and OM and have been unable to find an answer. I vaguely remember hearing/reading about BC1.3 having the ability to “shift” to the right or left side of the lane and stay there, like when passing a vehicle that is closer to the Line than you are comfortable with. How is this done? And how tho return it to ”center“ when you are through? I think that I inadvertently set it to the right. I have had the car for 2 months now and really like it and it tracked true until recently. To my knowledge the last OTA received was the one to ”improve connectivity” so pretty sure an OTA wasn’t involved, more like operator error…. <shrug>

It moves within the lane automatically (over and back to center). It's a really neat feature that I've enjoyed.

You can try activating BC without any vehicles nearby and then manually move the car over to your desired lane position. Hold it there for a bit, like 15-20 seconds (or until you feel the steering wheel stop trying to move the car over) to see if that resets it.

See if it got switched off accidentally (or by an update). Sync > Driver Assistance > cruise control > Lane centering with Hands-free

I think it's called something like In-Lane Repositioning or something similar.
