May be time to reconsider the ICE option. My wife just went to a MB lot last week, they have no shortage on inventory
Same with Lexus. My parents were looking at an RX350 and they have plenty to choose from. It appears only EVs or Hybrids are hard to come by.

Order banks opening date pushed back to Monday 8/29 or Tuesday 8/30. Confirmed this with multiple dealers.

So uh, for those of us that ordered in 21, we get price protection for this? Because otherwise it's literally not worth it despite the tax credit deletion vs an Ioniq 5 or EV6.

Once you take the MY22 price add in the 360 / roof etc the price increase makes sense. It is in line with Tesla and others. What am I missing on why people are so worked up?

I was looking at a RWD Premium with extended battery, no chance that's happening now.

Do we know the range on the standard RWD premium? And how much would the extended battery add?

Thanks, I saw 297 somewhere here and wasn't sure. 247 isn't enough for me to consider dropping the premium battery. Alas...

Pricing of a Premium AWD Extended will be similar to Telsa Model Y Dual Motor AWD without EAP or FSD.

Considering 1) everyone in this forum agrees the Mach E is vastly superior to the Model Y, 2) the upward pressure on raw materials and especially battery and harness components, and 3) the statement earlier this year about the Mach E's economics - the 2023 pricing shouldn't be unexpected or cause major heartburn.

Anyone thinking about looking at other option? Like Lyriq or other brand which might not have a tax credit. I, myself, is interested in the Macan ev.

At this point, I'm seriously thinking of just buying another ICE and converting the house over to Solar. I think the home solar is now more valuable.

IMO, from a financial perspective, solar is a no-brainer (Depending on location/house alignment/etc). Solar + EV is a big winner as powering my car is now about 10% of what it was compared to my previous ICE.

You're only looking at select base price, but there are tech package features missing plus it's battery cost should have gone down as they're moving to LFP for the small pack. Other trims went up by almost $6k for getting nothing new and the parking assist removed, while the big battery pack is also another $2,600 for an other $8k increase on the premium trim. It is also not in line with the rest of the market, Tesla never was and other competitor prices like VW are going down.

Yep, was already looking at an EV6 but was undecided, I thought the tax credit being deleted from Korean cars made my decision to hold onto my Mach E order but the price is going up more than the tax credit was so if I don't get price protection I'm not taking delivery.
