They should pile them up somewhere else across the border and not at the factory lest the on again off again tariffs become on again….?

Hopefully they’re working on something like that. They probably don’t have any current way to do it without clogging up the delivery channels or pushing them onto dealership lots. I’m hoping the issue will be rectified in production soon. We could see later VIN cars be delivered before the earlier VIN units that are already sitting and waiting for a retrofit. Some of this is hypothetical…. I’m almost certain this is what’s going on, as it’s the only thing that makes sense as to why no ‘25s have been delivered yet.

My dealer talked about this issue, he said Ford is famous for last in / first out, as the last in have the fix already and they have to go back and fix the earlier ones. I'm hoping that the 2/24 builds have the fix already. Back in 2020/2021, a lot of cars went to Kansas City, then sat there for the fix.

I'm in the same boat, with my car having made it to Texas but now floundering there somewhere with no updates since 3/2.
I called Ford yesterday and the rep said it looked like there was a "partial parts order," but he couldn't see what part. So, that might be why everything is on hold right now since the 3/2 junction point update.

I spoke to my dealer today. He believes that all 2025 Mach E's are being held in Texas, all of them. Nobody is likely to get one this week. if he's right

This could be because Ford has not issued an OKTB for technical reasons, or (conjecture follows) it may be for business reasons. It's possible that it is haphazard to begin deliveries and set a precedent for the lucky (future potential) owners including me who have cars staged in Dallas that have officially avoided a mandatory tariff. They may not want to start selling 25's at one price with tariffs looming for future owners. So, we might get hosed either way. At the very least, we may be in limbo. This is simply a possibility, neither a fact nor even an assertion.

To this end however, what other models are produced in Mexico, and is Ford delivering any of those 25's to dealers to sell? If all Mexico built (or Canada and Mexico built) are being held back, then that is a pattern, and the kind of thing that the "fake news lame stream media" should probably pick up. Of course Elon would spin it as proof that the big 3 can't build vehicles as quickly and reliably as he can (ahem) and Don will spin it as the Elites trying to screw average Americans.

On the other hand, if other imported models are making it onto dealer lots, it may just mean the heat pumps or the new column mount shifters are giving Ford trouble on the Mach E only. Does anyone know?

My fleet manager in SoCal hasn’t said anything about all 25’s being held and last we spoke this week, we are still on track. Hope that’s the case because my current lease ends next month ??

The Ford Maverick is made at a different Mexico plant. The 2025 Mavericks are being delivered to dealerships and sold.

I've put together a super simple Chrome extension that will put the extra data from the server on the main page if anyone is interested. It just gets rid of having to do the dev tools stuff. I submitted it to the Chrome Web Store, but it takes a while to get approved. In the meantime if you wanna manually add it to Chrome, you can download this zip, unzip it, and go to the Chrome Extensions manager, check developer mode, then click Load Unpacked and point it to the folder.

Note: As a computer guy, I feel it's my responsibility to say that it can be dangerous to load an extension from some rando on the internet. I left it unpacked, so you can see the code that it's running, and that there's nothing malicious. It just pulls info from session storage and puts it on the page.

Has anyone seen a 25 at any dealer yet, or had their unit actually show it's been shipped.? It seems crazy that dealers are telling me May or June before any 25's will hit their lots. Remember when the new models use to start hitting lots at the end of August or first of September the year prior?

Ours were built the same week but I see no indication mine has shipped - maybe because it will be grouped with other cars coming our direction, or maybe it has shipped but is not reporting that. Pioneer898 is also going to Seattle before Alaska, and not shipped still I think. Maybe they are both in Texas somewhere...
