This brings up and interesting idea. How hard would it be to add a simple mechanical release and run it to the front access/bumper? Seems like it should be relatively easy to do.

Right. Or have an actual working key in the fob and one mechanic lock on the driver's door just in case... but this could never happen, right, no one could get locked out???

My guess is the 12v is dead enough to not power the modules in the car but not so dead that the frunk jump points are active.

mmmm.... OP said door pillar codes lit up. Best bet I think is to get door unlocked with pillar code, then diagnose the rest via ODB2.

if OP set a custom code, its probably best to try both what he set, and the factory code. If factory code is not accessable, Dealer can probably get it from Ford with VIN.

He did state pillar did not work and factory code was suggested but unsure if attempted.

It’s quite humbling to stand there in a parking lot with no access to your car. It really made me miss having a physical key to at least get in the car.

It has been escalated through a contact at Ford, but still no response from the dealer.

That is a good idea. This issue on my side is, since the the day after it bricked, Ford Pass has not connected to the car. If they get the doors opened and system reset, that should reconnect again I hope.
