Passenger side is broken, the line from the X is gone. No idea when, where it happened. Asked dealer to order a new one a couple of weeks ago. No news yet. I think I'll just remove them. If/when it shows up I'll just save it. I guess I should order a driver side to save as well

problem I have is that the PPF is cut out around the badges.. so I'll be force to replace the badges when they break/fall off. dont want an 'odd spot' on the doors

The line under my passenger side badge came loose but didn't break. My dealer replaced it. Then the new one started coming loose. in both cases the badge was separating from the adhesive strip. I decided to use a fine dab of super glue gel. It's holding now.

That is exactly what is happening to mine. The line is separating from the adhesive strip. I was afraid to try and do anything myself though lol

yeah I guarantee if I were to mess with super glue around there I'd somehow end up with my face glued to the side mirror and my foot glued to the pano roof.

My drivers side line under the Mach-E text broke the tip off of it today while I was hand washing it, I don’t even scrub hard at all, wondering if I should just use some Gorilla Glue to put the tip back on?

It’s about an inch of the line that’s under the ā€œMachā€ part of it. I’ve never taken this through a car wash, cause of this reason!

My wife convinced me to just get the dealer to fix it, I’m always worried they’ll scratch it up or do something else. Can I just call and get them to order the parts?

Happened to me as well on both sides. I contacted my dealer and they said it was covered by warranty. They ordered me new ones and called me when they were in. Service did it in an hour or so. So far so good since ??

Did you have to bring your car in first?

Many owners take them off. The question is which is easier, taking them off as they break or immediately?

On a MME the door badges aren’t necessary. I hear they are sawed off using water and dental floss.

I removed mine because 1) they were loose when I bought the car; 2) I look the clean look with the badges removed; and 3) I hand wash my car and they were a pain to work around, especially the X line at the bottom, which would catch the drying towel unless I was extremely careful. The badges are made of cheap plastic and will not last as designed.
