We have no females up here; too cold. Waiting to see how close the cals are.
Yeah, at leat before COVID we could travel some to see some nice 168 lbs females south of the border but now even the borders are closed. God help us :)

I modified the acceleration model for the RWD extended range MME, and also adjusted the mass to match the Ford target of 6.1 seconds.

I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread for RWD since the title of this thread is AWD.

As the thread originator, you can edit the title to just Mach E Acceleration Modeling.

Done. It is specific to the ER battery so far.
Are there any MPGe numbers/images from window sticker from SR models, RWD or AWD, yet?

Awesome report! The acceleration chart is presented in a couple of the Mach E webinars. One is here in https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/mach-e-web-series-part-4-performance-and-charging.1578/

That's some impressive jerk! (It's an engineering unit, I swear... jerk is the rate of change of acceleration over time, much like acceleration is the rate of change of velocity over time).

Even if the ICE mustang has a higher peak acceleration, the jerk rates don't compare which is what gives you that EV 'kick' feeling off the line. For reference, that works out to about 32 mphpsps (miles per hour per second per second). And for comparison, passenger trains (what I work with in my day job) typically limit the jerk rate in all but emergency braking to 3 mphpsps so people don't get hurt :p.

You can see the jerk at 0:19 in this video
That's me trying to maintain the video of the road while fighting the jerk (the car's jerk, not talking about anyone in the car).

Excellent engineering example! Per the accel curve, the jerk goes to zero after that 0.4 second mark (right as you stabalize the camera, haha).

And don't forget snap crackle and pop - yes, real names for even higher order derivatives.
I model and evaluate Longitudinal jerk for ACC, and lateral jerk for lane centering.
