Not anymore.
Ah...I stand corrected. It looks like all of the colors are the same on the Premium and GT levels. I will correct my post from earlier.

As far as options go, the GT is equally well appointed to the Premium, minus the following:

Panoramic Roof (optional on GT)
Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 (optional on GT; requires Panoramic Roof)

Perforated seats on Premium, available in white interior. Sport-style seats on GT (or Performance Seats with the PE package)

The gap between GT and Select is quite large (other than the metal roof).
That's fair - I wanted to more signal to OP that GT doesn't necessarily mean Premium+ since there have been a few posts along the lines of 'how come my GT doesn't have XYZ when the Premium does'.

When I asked the salesman about the differences, he said that the California was the top-of-the-line, but the pricing would seem to indicate the GT is the top-of-the-line. He also said that other than the Select, the three trims were "basically the same", except for the badging and "a few minor safety features", but he couldn't elaborate on what those are. From the Ford website, I don't see anything about heated seats (maybe I'm just looking at the wrong page), and really only see that the wheels are different sizes (18"/19"/20") and the Select lacks the glass roof.
I'm amazed at how little dealers know about their cars. Imagine me, a physician, treating my job the same way many car dealers treat their jobs.

Me: Yeah, uh, all of these drugs are "basically the same," except for the badging and "a few minor safety features."

Mostly I'm interested in understanding the differences between the Premium and the GT, as I want AWD (which eliminates the California) and I like the glass roof (which eliminates the Select). Some differences may also be in the "packages" on top of the trim level; what's the full set of everything in each add-on package? Please help me out.

Thanks.
Heads up. I've read at least a couple people here who paid more for the GT or GTPE and were unhappy to find out they didn't have the glass roof. The glass roof is standard on the premium model but you have to add it as a feature on the GT and GTPE trim. Same with the Bluecruise. In fact, you have to get either both the glass roof and bluecruise or neither. It's an added $3400 ($1900 for the bluecruise and 360 degree camera, $1500 for the glass roof).

I had a select and sold it in favor of a premium. I am extremely glad I did. I also live in the PNW and the heated steering wheel alone is worth it. It truly gets warm, unlike almost any others. Plus the pano roof, way nicer wheels, slightly better sound, power everything…it’s not that much more money but it makes a HUGE difference. I ordered one from Damerow Ford in Beaverton, OR and didn’t pay a single penny over MSRP or any stupid extras, such as VIN etching. I would have always regretted not spending the extra money. Once you’re up to almost 50k, another 5k to get that roof and everything is is a must, IMO. A 50k car with a manual seat and no sunroof was really annoying to me

Amen! Takes a lot of gall to ask for $5-20k ADM and not know anything about what you're selling.

What IS important, to me, is the lack of acoustic glass on the Sel & RT 1 that exists on the premium. I like the sound deadening. I want my car as quiet as possible.
This is no longer being offered on the 2022 models. I’m guessing they are struggling to get the glass.

The salesperson isn’t asking the ADM the dealer is. I would imagine most dealers don’t have any MMEs in stock and when they do it’s only for a couple of days. I sell RVs and don’t spend my days studying product. You don’t make money unless you’re in front of customers. I’m guessing they make very little or a flat on ordered MMEs.

I’ve also learned that most customers have researched the hell out of one product when I have to know a little about a lot of different products, some of which I’ve never even seen before.

I know some great car guys and lots of terrible ones. I think you have to do a ton of your own research especially when it’s such a new and different product.

I''ve bought my Odyssey used from the guy that knew everything about all of his hundred or so cars on the lot by heart. And they were all different brands years and models. He answered all the questions of all calling clients without even looking anywhere. I was shocked. I asked how a genius like you ended up selling cars. He said "I just enjoy selling cars"

In their defense, they do mostly sell 95% ICE cars so it's best to do our own research for EVs and study forums/videos/youtube, etc. (or stay at a holiday inn express the night before :) )

On physicians, I've had one doctor say another doctor was clueless because it wasn't their specialty and was misdiagnosing stuff and mouthing off incorrectly.

Sorta like a dermatologist telling a patient how to do brain surgery...doctors are probably never put in that spot and would refer to a specialist unlike random dealers, who sadly, don't really have specialists (and are paid tons less usually).
