Oh look! An actual bit of substance.Better charging comes with some huge asterisks.
1. They are pretty terrible at V3 Superchargers, which are shaping up to be the backbone of the nation's charging network. Seems like you'll be lucky to get 100kW?
2. Lots of L1/L2 OBCC issues throttling L2 charging. Not sure if Kia/Hyundai has fixed those issues.
Better warranty is debatable, Kia/Hyundai is pretty notorious for squirming out of repair bills.
1) Tesla charging remains a sore spot. Where I am though, nacs and ccs are about equal, and in same location. Definitely something for user to consider!
2) Kia had not at all squirmed on anything. In fact, they seem super happy to do work. An annoying aspect of the ev6 is that its so quiet that you can hear the cabin pressure relief vents in the back move. I took the car in for this and they thought it was a bad shock when they rode in it with a techs ear pressed to the area. They authorized, ordered, and replaced it almost like they got paid double time to do it. It was wild. That said, Kia service is not great at many Kia dealers. Definitely YMMV.
