That moderator was awful. He kept picking dumb questions before tonight, but wasting heiser's time with the "what's the mache's torque" was beyond wasteful. It's on the website, we don't need the chief engineer to dig that out of his memory.

Tim, they beat around the bush only answering simple questions that people like YOU and others already know from your own research and forums like this. Anything about dates or certain things they are afraid to speak on in case it doesn't happen.

Same as the frunk didn't really answer it lol.
Yes, ron was in a directors meeting today. he was very tired and he should have only been speaking on things we don't know. The simple questions made his eyes roll.

Oh, of course - I knew asking dates and final performance was a waste of time. But there were some good questions that got ignored, too. They didn't really answer the question about how Ford does cold weather differently/better than Tesla. I would have liked them to answer about parking in the sun in arizona and how that affects the battery long term

Here it is:
Thanks. Spent the past 2 days in airplanes and airports. This will make good watching (I hope) when I'm waiting for late evening Hawaiian time to roll around.

I do have one question raised by the answers. 250kWh on EA, not on any company within the Ford network? If so, can I donate the time to a worthy (or not) forum member? Seriously, I won't be able to use (and wasn't really planning even if it included other companies).

I'm very disappointed that I went zero for 3 on my questions this week.

How long can it hold the 150kW charge speed?
Hwy efficiency.
Dc to DC charger stats.

They were surely not going to give an answer to efficiency before the final numbers are officially published

If I was in their marketing department, I would have released a new nugget of info during each video. Today would have been 0-60, or Range, or a real charging profile.

Apparently I asked the right performance question: confirmation of 0-60 and we got it in the presentation:

Darren vaguely answered the 150 kW time question. He did scoff at some who only briefly maintain the high speed and immediately taper off. Of course, he also indicated that declining charging rates are a result of the battery heating up, so they can't stay at 150 the whole time. I guess we'll have to wait for independent testing or one of us to try it.

I asked about the DC to DC as well :(

Too many variables with DCFC to give a firm answer to how long it will hold that charge rate. Every session is different so no two users will have the same results.

Highway efficiency same thing. Which highway? What speed? Which direction? Ambient temp? Climate control settings? Weather? Tire pressure? Tire type? Etc etc

What DC to DC charger are you referring to? The 400 volt to 14 volt on board converter or the one inside the DCFC stations?
