- 2021 Mach E
It’s really weird how many people in this thread are behaving like jerks. I guess it’s the “buyback” talk that’s getting folks so riled up.
Any experienced Mach E owner should be able to acknowledge that the spring-loaded charge port door is poorly designed and pops open way too easily.
Likewise, any experienced Mach E owner should be able to acknowledge that the Rube Goldberg design involving the front-bumper-port-to-pop-the-frunk-to-access-a-dead-12v-battery-buried-under-plastic-cladding-just-to-open-your-doors is less than ideal. And, again, many reports of it getting knocked loose in car washes.
If these features of the car frequently have issues in modern car washes, and they do, that’s not great design. I’ve had these problems in a new state of the art Club Car Wash, which is one of the fastest expanding car wash chains in the country.
None of this is grounds for a buyback, but dang, we can also acknowledge reality. Stop being so darned tribal.
