I was using a 350 kw level 3 charger and the Mercedes next to me was getting around 70-80 even at 80% but mine only maxed at 40 despite being at 30%. What gives?

It was minus 5 celcius but so was the other car next to meHow cold was the battery?
Not sure. I didn't even know I could check the battery temp. But it was maxed at 40 me from 30-60%Is that battery temp, or ambient air?
Being a California guy, I can’t imagine what that feels like….It was minus 5 celcius but so was the other car next to me
Focusing on the other car of a different manufacturer on a different charger doesn’t provide any useful data. Your charging rate could have been rate limited because of something specific about the charger you connected to or your cars cold battery or some other issue. I’m sure you are aware that the Mache max rate is 160 kw for a very short time , plugging into 350 kw charger is.. potentially poor charger etiquette. It was minus 5 celcius but so was the other car next to me
No we were both waiting outside for an hour (that's another story) for the chargers to free upFocusing on the other car of a different manufacturer on a different charger doesn’t provide any useful data. No but like I said, both of us just waited for an hour so even if I did precondition with android auto, it would have dissipated by the time I plugged inDid you use the built in navigation or android auto to navigate to the charger?
A lot better than -5 Fahrenheit .Being a California guy, I can’t imagine what that feels like….
Actually, it wouldn't have dissipated. No but like I said, both of us just waited for an hour so even if I did precondition with android auto, it would have dissipated by the time I plugged in
So preconditioning lasts forever?Actually, it wouldn't have dissipated.
