Glass roof sunshade

Lots of accessories for our MME!

Hmmm..

  • Custom Design Sunshade for Ford Mustang Mach-E Glass Roof
  • Made with lightweight mesh fabric with a collapsible rigid frame
  • Durable and effectively reduces heat transmission into the cabin
  • Easily removable, the Model Y sunshade is installed onto the interior of the glass roof with clips
  • Sunshade is collapsible and store in the provided pouch
  • Fitment: Ford Mustang Mach-E

The labels say MME but the pictures are Teslas.

I don’t think I’m putting any clips in my Mustang Mach E. I’ll see how well the Glass Roof does on its own first.

It's just a demonstration of the product. By the time anyone decides they want one, they'll have made the templates from a real MME and have them in stock.

Personally, I'll keep an eye on the product for the future should I decide it's warranted.

I was looking up window tinting and the 3M brand has come out with UV and IR blocking window coverings, both light and heavier tints and they say they will block out up to 95% of heat producing sunlight. That will help if you live in an area of extreme heat and would rather block the heat with a clear wrap than a shade.

I believe that is what the existing low emissivity glass does. Of course, you can add a film if you want to amp up the effect over what Ford has done. I'd recommend trying it first. Even folks in CA and AZ have been finding no issue with heat through the sun roof at Tour stops. It might be different if it were July, however.

A silvered sun-blocking insert mentioned as being included with the Tesmanian roof shade, but no mention on the website. Is it part of the tesmanian shade kit?

No heat issue at all in SoCal. Glass roof gets warm to the touch (outside), but the heat does not transfer through to the inside of the vehicle. Just makes it light and airy feeling!
