I'm just curious as to how many Mach-E owners are a "one car" family, or still have another ICE, another BEV or PHEV for longer trips, hauling, or other "missions"?

My husband’s car is actually a company car so the Mach-E is the only one we own, but since we can drive his vehicle company car for personal uses as well I checked “mme and a hybrid/ice.” His car is a 2020 Ford Edge ST.

Well, there's the Fusion Energy, the turbo charged Miata track toy, the ford ranger, the motorcycle and if all else fails the John Deere tractor....
I'm a John Deere fan myself, as we had those on our farm. :)

Seems like getting a Mach-E is a fantasy at this point, but we will have it for around town and shorter trips and a Hybrid Toyota Sienna for long hauls. 530+ miles on a tank in a minivan is nice.

Currently have the MME and one ICE car (2009 Boxster), so that's what I clicked. But it's pretty likely we'll be down to one car this summer (the MME, of course), and try that for a bit. If we decide that won't work, we'll probably buy another BEV.

Pretty sure we're done with ICE unless I win the lottery and can buy a big house with a lot of garages and stuff them with old Porsches.

...so we're done with ICE...

Current Vehicles:

  • 2021 Mach-e GT (Wife's daily - also our planned family road trip vehicle)
  • 2017 F150 Raptor - My winter daily / hauling duty
  • 2019 Shelby GT350 - My warm(er) weather daily / fun-mobile

Future plans:

  • Daughter is 16 and will need a vehicle of some sort this summer. Target is something "cute" and around $5k
  • Raptor to be traded for a Lightning as soon as I can get one
  • GT350 will likely (and unfortunately) be sold sometime next year to help pay for Daughter's collage and to avoid the risk of keeping a Voodoo out of warranty - that will hurt a lot.

I think if full-sized SUVs come out with full EV support and charging inevitably gets faster, I'll replace the Expy w/ an EV-Full sized SUV. I have 3 kids and a dog and we travel a lot in the Expy, and by travel I mean CLE to Florida and the Carolinas annually. I don't think I can travel that distance in EV w/ the whole family for a while yet...

Been trying to get the wife to replace the Durango with at worst a PHEV, but so far no success. She drives so little she could run a PHEV all month without using gas but she doesn't like the affordable PHEVs currently on the market.

2 Mach Es and 3 ICE vehicles.

...not a choice on the survey.

But... the ICE cars are antiques, not dailies.
I think you qualify for "Mach-E will be the only family car..."

Two Mach-E’s and an eco-boost F-150 because sometimes Rural life calls for doing truck stuff.
