Presumably the results of this step will indicate if the FOB has been cloned, right? If the OP's two keys are the only ones stored then the mystery will deepen.

Agree this is the logical next step, but I want a trail camera to catch the perp in the act to find out why! Would be interesting to find out whether an unhoused person got access to a FOB cloning device purely for the purpose of finding cars to sleep in.
your trail cam will have a better chance of catching bigfoot than a "teenager using the factory code to enter a vehicle with nothing in it"...lol

Well, the way I see it, there are three options:

1. The OP is having some kind of mental health episode and believes things to be happening that are not actually happening.
2. We are being trolled.
3. Someone is getting into the car...somehow.

If #3 is what is happening, the trail cam may help figure out who / how / why.

Missing factory code card….car location known…mmm… car wasn’t driven away,. I had a car broken into by throwing a spark plug into a window, cell phone stolen. Easier than hacking the key pad. don’t keep valuables in car

I’m leaning towards that “missing” factory code card. Sounds like an inside job.

How about a slim jim? I know in electromechanical doors you think they would be obsolete but how are fire departments getting in when kids are locked in car?

As someone else already said: they break the window to get the kid out. It is the fastest way to do so. They aren’t concerned with a broken window when it comes to a life.

Interesting thread.
You could put black electrical tape over the numbers then if the tape is missing you know they are using the code to get in. If you find the tape you can check for a fingerprint.
If the tape is always intact then they are getting in some other way.

I also never received the card with my factory code from the dealership when I picked mine up, they said they couldn't find it - 1st owner. It sucks that someone is getting into your car somehow. It is such an awful feeling. I had it happen once many years ago in Milwaukee when I didn't have a garage. I hope you find a way to catch the person!

For fun, I'm just gonna throw this out there... ;)

They can't put the tape back in place after entering the number?

I can think of two simple fixes: 1) Install remote camera at parking area; 2) Install Door decal that covers the keypad, or find another way to cover it. Also, check if someone else set up "Phone as a Key" on your car (via Options). Is it possible someone is messing with your phone app to unlock your car? Personally, I would do a factory reset, wipe all user data, and turn off ALL cellular and bluetooth on the car. Just use the key that came with the car. That would rule out remote cyber attack over cellular radio.
