Multiple Mach-E GTs have reached Kansas City!

I'm happy to report that some Mach-Es are now on their way to dealerships in Indiana and Missouri (and maybe locations too - I'll look for more later). I don't want to steal anyone's thunder in case any of these are forum members', so for now at least, I am concealing VINs, freight #s, and trip #s.

Interestingly, each of these two shipments included F150s along with the one or two Mach-E GTs.

Ford's ETAs on two of these are 8/20 - 8/26, and the other is 8/24 - 8/30.

When I visited my dealer yesterday he said they're seeing most vehicles show up earlier than the estimated delivery date lately. Hopefully we'll see some GTs landing any day now.

Speaking of which, as of this morning, palsapp is saying that those three GTs have now been delivered (!!).

If there are any forum members who live near these dealerships and have available time, it would be great to get visual confirmation.

I've already instructed my dealer to not even wash mine. I will take delivery of it dirty. It will go straight to my detailer for a thorough cleaning and ceramic.

I'm keeping such an eagle eye watch on my status that I'm fairly certain I'll be there before the dealer knows its arrived. I work from home, I can take that time!

Would you rather Ford communicate really well with you, but the car takes re hours longer to get to you, or have Ford do zero communications about the thousands of vehicles they build each day, and get the car to you as quick as safely possible?

I get that you (not you personally, but all the people waiting for a car) are excited, and tired of waiting. I do. But, while your car is the most important thing going on to you, it is just one of thousands to Ford. It will arrive precisely when it does, whether Ford is forthcoming with that information or not.

Joe, this is a very valid question. But, for people who ordered and are in regular touch with their dealer, I would prefer frequent communication. Lots of the cars being built are for regular allocation and Ford is working with the dealers on this. I ordered a GT PE specifically configured as I want. I don't know how many people actually went through the order process, but I doubt is is a high percentage. I have no knowledge and am just working from a hunch.

Oh, and the car is not the most important thing going on for me. My mother-in-law is dying of lung cancer and my job has got interesting. I really do wish my life were at the point where the car is the most important thing. Perhaps someday.

Why use a ditch? Inventory is so low at dealerships that you can easily camp out on their empty property.

My GT is "produced" but still not listed as ready for transport/ship. Been that status about 10 days. Seems like such a slow process. I picture a huge lot full of half built cars with bird poop and rain spots.
